Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice dismantled MSNBC's Joy Reid on her own show, thoroughly debunking the left's big lie that books are being banned in America, a bogus argument that has no basis in reality
Leftists are enraged by the backlash against the sexualization of young children in the nation's classrooms and have crafted a completely false narrative about the push for sexually inappropriate books, many with graphic depictions of homosexual pornography, out-of-school libraries, books that are readily available. in bookstores and online despite the lies that have been spread, including by President Joe Biden himself.
The “career lady” immediately went on the offensive in a segment that lasted sixteen minutes and saw all of her attempts to promote misinformation about obscure banned books slapped in the face by Justice.
“No one is banning books,” Justice said in one of many heated exchanges during the interview. “Write the book, print the book, publish the book, put the book in the public library, sell the book, right? We are talking about a public school library”.
“Nobody bans books.
“Write the book, print the book, publish the book, put the book in the public library, sell the book.
“We are talking about a public school library. Children do not have free access to the Internet at school. … Why is no one protesting? pic.twitter.com/TvwIaVsxf1

“Children do not have free access to the Internet at school. I did a FOIA [Freedom of Information Act] request And I wanted to see what kinds of Internet sites are banned in schools, we're talking about banning, right?” the justice added. “And the subject of books that mothers are concerned about are the same things that children are not have access to the Internet. So it seems very hypocritical, doesn't it? Why is no one protesting to, you know, “free the internet”?
The host then tried to make the case that concerned parents selectively target books by searching for keywords without context, using an example of a book about the experience of a young gay man who was demolished by Justice.

Reid: “What is your experience in deciding that an award-winning book like 'All Boys Aren't Blue' is not suitable for reading?”
Justice: “How tragic… pic.twitter.com/ccsewiNHuY— Eric Abbenante (@EricAbbenante) January 20, 2024
“What a tragic story of a young man being anally raped by adult family members. So you have incest, rape, pedophilia. In what context is a strap-on dildo acceptable for public school?” asked the justice . “That's my question for you”
“Maybe we can put all the books with all the graphic sexual content,” Justice suggested, “the dildos, the rapes . . .”
“I'm so sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!” shouted the defensive host. “I've seen tapes of what Moms For Liberty does, and you all go to school board meetings and read graphic stuff.”
“Joy, this is a fake conversation,” Justice replied. “America used to understand that there is such a thing as age-appropriate content.”
Users of the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, applauded the slap in the face of justice for Reid's lies.

Very simple. We don't let kids surf porn in class. Giving children access to school-age appropriate content is reasonable and necessary. https://t.co/HDo07MKUtw

“Moms for Liberty welcomes all who want to advocate for the rights of parents at all levels of government,” the organization states on its website. “Our founders are Tiffany and Tina, moms on a mission to fan the flames of freedom. As former school board members, they witnessed how shortsighted and destructive policies directly hurt children and families. Now they are using their first-hand knowledge and experience to unite parents who are willing to fight back against those who stand in the way of freedom.”
