It’s no coincidence that former President Donald Trump tapped a biased judge to oversee his 2020 election case related to the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol, Kash Patel exclusively told Breitbart News.
Appointed to the bench by the Obama administration in 2014, U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan will oversee the 2020 election case against Trump. Chutkan previously worked in litigation and white-collar criminal defense in Boies, Schiller and Flexner, where Hunter Biden and Chutkan were mates for five years. During his tenure as a judge, he also oversaw a major case involving Russian deception.
“I don’t believe for a second that it’s a coincidence that in Washington, D.C., Donald Trump has drawn the most partisan and biased judge who is incapable of being fair and neutral,” said Patel, who is a former aide and director of the House Committee on ‘Intelligence of the House. deputy of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

Patel argues that Chutkan is a partisan judge and lacks credibility to oversee Trump’s case after he recused himself in November 2017 from overseeing an ongoing case involving Trump and Russia deception.
“If you’re a judge and you represented one of the parties or your office represented one of the parties before you, it’s an automatic recusal, period,” he said.
After Trump won the 2016 election, the House Intelligence Committee subpoenaed bank records to find out who, according to reports, paid $168,000 for the Steele dossier on Trump. The committee wanted to find out who financed the vehicle the FBI used to get permission to spy on Donald Trump. In turn, the Democrat-aligned “disinformation firm” Fusion GPS filed a lawsuit to block the release of bank records linking Fusion GPS funds to the Steele dossier.
“Judge Chutkan was involved in the lawsuit,” Patel recalled, which ultimately led to his recusal from the case.
“The court case was assigned to Judge Chutkan,” Patel said. “And we litigated the case for about a month. We filed motions. We included all the individuals from the Fusion GPS perspective of the parties that went to the DNC, the Hillary campaign, individuals and, after about a month of all this litigation, it just shuts itself down and retracts,” Patel said. “She didn’t present any warrant to justify it. She just does it.”
“We later found out that Judge Chutkan was an attorney at Boies, Schiller, where she worked as an attorney with Hunter Biden,” Patel said. “Those were red flags.”

“Why should she recuse herself from Russiagate? Well, it’s because Boies, Schiller, under her tenure, represented Fusion GPS, the same firm that sued us before her. [court]”, it continued. “She knew this when we filed the lawsuit, because it was Fusion who filed the lawsuit, and she already allowed it to be litigated before her, in violation of the ethical canons and the rule of law about maintaining neutrality.”
“She can’t be fair, based on her previous work at a law firm that has literally been one of the most corrupt legal con men in the Democratic National Party. [and] Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” Patel said, “This was all about getting Trump during Russiagate and the Steele dossier, it all happened because of her.”
Breitbart News asked Patel how Chutkan was selected to oversee the Trump case. He answered that the process works with a systematic rotation, called a “wheel”.
“Basically, no matter how many judges there are in the district, everybody’s name is on it, and it’s like tick, tick, tick,” he described. “Every time a case comes, you get the next one and so on.”
“That’s how it is supposed to work,” Patel said emphatically.
