“Mean tweets are back baby!” Trump returns to X before BIG interview

Ahead of an “INTERVIEW OF THE CENTURY,” former President Donald Trump made a move on social media that garnered millions of views within hours and sparked the “IT'S BACK” trend.

Nearly a year after breaking the Internet with the release of his official photo, the Republican presidential candidate once again ventured beyond Truth Social to directly address the digital denizens of his former main platform, X.

In the pre-dawn hours, Trump released a campaign ad that read: “Are you better off now than when I was president? Our economy is broken. Our border has been wiped out. We are a nation in decline. Come back to make the American dream affordable. Make America SAFE again! #TrumpOnX.”

After garnering more than 20 million views, the ad included headlines covering the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration that coincided with former California Gov. Ronald Reagan's final statement after debating then-President Jimmy Carter in October 1980.

“Next Tuesday you will all go to vote, you will stand at the polling station and you will make a decision. I think when you make that decision, it might be good to ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago? Reagan asked. “Is it easier for you to go shopping in stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than four years ago? Is America as respected around the world as it used to be? Do you think our security is as secure, that we are as strong as we were four years ago?

“…if you don't think this course we've taken for the last four years is the one you'd like us to follow for the next four, I might suggest another option you have,” he concluded. the ad showed Trump shaking hands with Reagan.

As reported, Trump will join Elon Musk for an event from Spaces on X, the platform he had bought and renamed Twitter, starting at 8 pm ET and promising to be “THE INTERVIEW OF CENTURY!”

The president's last post on X had been viewed more than 312 million times when he shared a photo of himself taken at the Fulton County Jail on August 24, 2023, with the message “ELECTION INTERFERENCE” and “NEVER SURRENDER!”

Unlike the nearly full year it had taken for Trump to post again on X after that message, Trump's account appeared to resume more regular activity as he shared another ad featuring him stating, “This it's the final battle. With you by my side, we'll throw out the warmongers, we'll throw out the communists, the fascists, we'll throw out the sick political class. we will overthrow the fake news media; and rid America of these evils once and for all.”

It was quickly followed by another slamming his rival with the caption: “CHECK OUT SAN FRANCISCO RADICAL KAMALA HARRIS!”

Enthusiasm for Trump's participation on the popular platform that Musk has worked hard to turn into a bastion of free speech trended to “HE'S BACK” as users chimed in with their own interpretations that included a good deal of celebrations for the “triumphant return”.
