Man ordering Buffalo Wild Wings says company ‘doesn’t give a shit’ about boneless wings complaint

-

It refuses to come off.

The man who claims Buffalo Wild Wings boneless wings are nothing but chicken nuggets asked a judge not to drop their class-action lawsuit because it would only fuel the restaurant’s lack of respect for poultry lovers.

Aimen Halim’s lawsuit made national headlines since it was filed last March, and Buffalo Wild Wings appeared to mock his claims on social media.

“‘We don’t give how…'” the company said in one Instagram post in May, explaining, “Buffalo Wild Wings kicks in when people say boneless wings aren’t wings.”

The restaurant chain then asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to dismiss the case.

Halim filed a response Friday that blasted the company for dismissing his concerns, saying the court should punish him by allowing his lawsuit to proceed. Insider reports.

“Instead, BWW decided to back down, issuing a brazen official response: ‘We don’t give a damn…'” the lawsuit states. “Such arrogance should not be rewarded, especially when BWW’s motive is quite simple: profit.”

Aimen, of Chicago, filed a lawsuit against Buffalo Wild Wings in March alleging “false and deceptive marketing and advertising” when it came to its boneless wings, which it said are derived from chicken breast, not beef. chicken wing

“In fact, the products are more similar, in composition, to a chicken nugget rather than a chicken wing,” the document says.

As reparations for the alleged chicken hoax, the suit seeks a jury trial, an unspecified amount of punitive damages, attorneys’ fees and any other fines determined by the judge, according to court documents.

Buffalo Wild Wings has requested that the lawsuit be dismissed, and along with its post that appears to mock Aimen’s claims directly, the company posted additional tweets mocking the lawsuit.

“That’s right. Our boneless wings are all white meat chicken. Our burgers contain no ham. Our buffalo wings are 0% buffalo,” the company wrote.

Buffalo Wild Wings did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Halim’s complaints aren’t directed solely at the restaurant, as he has a history of suing companies for alleged false marketing.

The plaintiff’s previous lawsuits have involved a case claiming that the “natural” label for Tom’s of Maine Wicked Fresh Mouthwash and the “high fiber” label for Kind granola are inaccurate.

He also claimed Hefty misled customers by labeling its bags as “recyclable” when they weren’t, a lawsuit that was dismissed in August.
