The Libertarian Party is facing internal strife and public scrutiny after its recent selection of a controversial candidate for the upcoming election, with tensions escalating as the party's president appears to be hinting at support for Trump.

Libertarian Party presidential candidate Chase Oliver is one extreme left radical whose views are totally out of step with party principles.

Oliver, a former Democrat who supported Barack Obama, has called for an end to the “American war machine” and the “genocide in Gaza.He also supports the Marxist terrorist group Black Lives Matter, drag queen story times, open borders and censorship of Big Tech.

Critics have criticized Oliver for being too progressive for the libertarian ticket, pointing to his past support for movements and policies such as Black Lives Matter, drag queen history schedules and strict censorship of Big Tech.

In addition, his support for controversial policies such as open borders and mandatory vaccinations and masks solidifies his position away from traditional libertarian values.

Oliver's nomination has sparked a backlash in the Libertarian Party, with many members threatening to vote for Donald Trump.

Caryn Anne Harlos, the national secretary of the Libertarian Party, has taken a hard line against party members who are threatening to defect to Trump.

“If you're now claiming you voted for Trump because you don't like Oliver, you weren't in the party for the people. And that's fine, but that's not how third-party movements survive. I'm here to carry on our legacy . I'm a party person and I never hid it. I'm still like that,” said Harlos.

However, the most dramatic development comes from Angela McArdle, the chairwoman of the Libertarian Party, who appears to be opening the door to an alignment with former President Donald Trump amid growing internal backlash.

In a recent statement, McArdle hinted at possible strategic partnerships with Trump.

“It's understandable that everyone is upset at the moment. I'll have more to say this weekend,” McArdle said.

“For now, I will say that I put on an amazing convention, with the help of my amazing staff and volunteers. All my critics were wrong. I made the right call to invite Donald Trump and if the libertarians can behave, it will release Ross Ulbricht and he's going to put one of us in his cabinet. The ball is in your court, libertarians. We're going into this administration,” he said.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump he delivered a fiery speech that courted the libertarian public.

Despite their unifying efforts, not all attendees were swayed by Trump's presence or proposals. A vocal segment of the crowd expressed their disapproval through boos and unruly behavior.

The president has had enough and said what needed to be said in the Libertarian Party.

“The Libertarian Party should nominate Trump for president of the United States,” Trump announced, adding: “Only if you want to win. You might not want to win,” he said. “Keep getting your 3% every four years.” .
