Lib was schooled after claiming race was not a factor in the death of a white teenager who was beaten by a gang of 15

-

A debate has erupted on X over whether the death of a 15-year-old white Las Vegas boy who was severely beaten by 15 other boys is race-related.

Jonathan Lewis Sr., the father of Jonathan Lewis Jr., said Las Vegas Review-Journal on Friday that her son was attacked near Rancho High School on Nov. 1 after “standing up for one of his younger friends.”

“A couple [of people] they attacked him, and they weren’t able to hurt him enough, and they all attacked him at the same time,” Lewis Sr. added.

Lewis Jr. he was later hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after local authorities found him bleeding from the head.

About a week later, on Tuesday, November 7, the boy died.

While police have yet to identify a suspect, video footage of the attack shows what appears to be a number of black boys attacking Lewis Jr.

I will see:

Consider what the previous reviewer wrote about how there would be riots all over the country right now if the races were reversed and 15 white guys attacked a black kid.

Another reviewer, “End Wokeness,” he stated in a tweet that most people “did not [even] hear nothing about this story because it doesn’t fit the narration.”

In response to this tweet, left-wing commentator Brian Krassenstein was quick to blast “End Wokeness” and others for making this case about race.

“It’s horrible that this boy was killed. I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now. Yes, he was white and those who hit him were black. This fight had no sign, to my knowledge, of have anything to do with race. I find it ironic that the ‘End Wokeness’ account that constantly complains that ‘woke people make it all about race’ is making this tragedy all about race,” he tweeted.

“Remember this boy for who he is and stop trying to turn his death into some kind of circus. Unless those he fought for were attacking him because of the color of his skin, stop making it about the color of his skin . I would say the exact same thing if the roles were reversed. Bottom line, what happened to this kid is horrible and I hope the people who did this get the book thrown at them,” he added.

Look at:

Krassenstein’s arguments were not well received, with many critics arguing that he was missing the point, not that Lewis Jr. he was attacked because of the color of his skin, but his murder is receiving scant attention in the national media precisely because of the color of his skin.

“Here’s what you don’t get. If this kid was black and those who killed him were white, it would be on every news channel 24 hours a day. The fact is, it wouldn’t be treated the same way,” one critic he wrote.

“You’re missing the point. It’s not about the motivation for the crime, it’s about why there isn’t more media coverage,” another critic said. added.

Lewis Sr., meanwhile, is just hoping something, anything positive comes out of his son’s death.

“Violence begets more violence and these kids don’t even know what they’re doing half the time. I hope that there is a way that they can find forgiveness in their hearts and find a way that they can accept what they have done,” he told the local station. CLASS.
