Fox News host Laura Ingraham told conservatives Thursday they were “really winning,” predicting “a string of victories” on multiple issues, including defeating efforts to block former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot and the rejection of President Joe Biden's agenda.
Ingraham pointed to Biden's abysmal poll numbers, including just a 40.6% approval rating on RealClearPolitics averageas his administration struggled to address inflation and customers have not bought electric vehicles.
“Yes, we really are winning,” Ingraham said in her show's opening monologue.
“The newspaper [Washington Post] who spent the last seven years trying to tear down Donald Trump is starting to see the writing on the wall. Now, the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to remove him from the primary ballot was a bridge too far even for judicial activists,” Ingraham said after a clip from the hit movie of 1992 “A League of Their Own”.
“Senior writer Ruth Marcus, considered one of the Washington Post's most senior and highly respected writers, bluntly said, 'The best outcome for the court and the country would be for a unanimous court to clear the way for Trump to run.'
March he called for the Supreme Court to step in Wednesday after the Colorado Supreme Court governed Trump was disqualified from appearing on the ballot in the 2024 Republican primary election in a 4-3 decision on Tuesday.
I WILL SEE:
“Look at. They know Trump will win the case through the Colorado Supreme Court and any other outcome would mark a party with a national fabric that is already coming apart,” Ingraham added. “I made that point last night. Even the ultra-liberal website, I love this, Slate says the case should be overturned 9-0. But this is the one, the only one, I think, that will end up being a series of victories for the Constitution of the United States, for our prosperity, for our security, even for our culture.”
Ingraham hit the Biden administration on a number of issues, including efforts to crack down on them gas stoves, child gender changesand officials like Sam Brinton i Rachel Levine.
“Our ideas are better and their ideas are proven failures. Now, that's why Joe Biden, despite receiving help from the wealthiest sectors of society, is spiraling downward. After 1,066 long days in office, here's where Joe Biden sits compared to other American presidents: lowest of all at 38.9 percent,” Ingraham said. “Now, no matter what they've done for trying to convince people, for example, that 'Bidenomics' really works, listen to us, or that the border is secure, there is no crisis here, or that Ukraine is right on the edge. of winning, just give us another $50 billion or Trump is Hitler and will never leave office if elected. None of this works. Nothing like that.”
Ingraham also touted a number of other Republican officials, noting that they had accomplished much instead of showing “weakness.”
“Beyond Trump, our bench is very strong. Governors like Ron DeSantis, Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Glenn Youngkin in Virginia, Greg Abbott in Texas, Bill Lee in Tennessee, Kristi Noem in South Dakota. Tate Reeves in Mississippi , and many more, this is a very strong bank with a real track record of success,” Ingraham said. “But who do the Democrats have? What, the team, are you eating them out? Newsom? He couldn't beat Ron DeSantis in a debate. Kathy Hochul? Oh, JB Pritzker, he's going to try to buy his way into office. I'll take those matchups any day of the week against any of ours going forward.”
