Lara Trump says it's 'pretty obvious' who's behind Trump website hack and Musk interview glitch

-

Former President Trump's daughter-in-law called out the “massive effort” by the deep state to keep him out of the White House.

Lara Trump spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity about the numerous mistakes and long delay in the start time of the former president's X interview with Elon Musk on Monday, warning that the “ adversaries” are “terrified” of his return to the White House and are pulling out all the stops to prevent it.

“They're hacking your father-in-law's website. I understand he has the top cybersecurity people who put it together. We're not dealing with fans here,” Hannity told the co-chairman of the Republican National Committee.

“Now, they've gone after Elon Musk tonight and limited the number of people who can see your father-in-law tonight,” the “Hannity” host continued, noting the European Union's letter to Musk criticizing the interview. .

“I think it's pretty obvious at this point, there's a lot of people and there's a massive effort, of course, to keep Donald Trump out of the White House. These people are terrified. This is the deep state. This is the swamp of Washington, DC,” said Lara Trump, Eric Trump's wife.

“These are the people who are our adversaries in many cases, they know that the game is over, the game is over when Donald J. Trump is back in the White House and they are petrified,” he added.

“They've had a free pass for three and a half years that people who want to do nefarious activities to us here in America, to our allies around the world, have a free pass and a free ride and they'd do it like four more years with Kamala Harris in charge,” Trump continued.

“Donald Trump is the only person who can deliver this country to 'we the people' – the only person who can make sure the world is stabilized once again,” he said. “And I guess, Sean, there's a lot of people out there who don't want this to happen for really horrible reasons, frankly.”

Running 40 minutes late to start Musk's lengthy interview with Trump, the billionaire owner of X blamed a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack.

In related news, the Trump campaign blamed “foreign sources hostile to the United States” for hacking internal communications. The campaign cited a report that Iranian hackers “sent a spear-phishing email in June to a high-ranking official in a presidential campaign.”

“These documents were obtained illegally from foreign sources hostile to the United States, with the intent to interfere with the 2024 election and sow chaos throughout our Democratic process,” a Trump campaign spokesman said, Steven Cheung.

“On Friday, a new Microsoft report found that Iranian hackers broke into the account of a 'senior official' in the US presidential campaign in June 2024, which coincides with the close of President Trump's selection of a vice-presidential candidate”. he added.
