Finally, President Biden admitted friday that the US border with Mexico is not secure, before calling for more money to better facilitate the historic invasion of foreign nationals from around the world.
Not only did the admission contradict Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, it comes after more than 8 million illegal immigrants entered the country under Biden's leadership.
At Monday's press conference, a reporter asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre: “Biden admitted on Friday that the border is not secure. Does he have any plans to visit the southern border before election?
“The president was in…visited the border recently,” KJP replied, prompting the reporter to note that the visit was in January 2023.
“Well, yes, that was, that was a year ago. It's been there,” the president's spokesman replied.
Q: Will the president visit the border before the election?

In a follow-up, the reporter noted that there were 300,000 migrant encounters in December, noting that it was “the highest month on record,” before asking: “How bad must the border crisis be for Biden to take a step. return trip?”
“So, just to reiterate what I just said seconds ago, the president has been at the border,” Jean-Pierre said. “He has visited the border. He saw it for himself. He spoke to law enforcement. He saw exactly what happens at the border. The president understands what's happening at the border.”
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin added some sorely missing context to Biden's “highly scrutinized” visit that KJP didn't bother to consider.
“The president had a very controlled visit to El Paso after the streets were cleared of migrants, he went to a migrant center that somehow didn't have a single migrant and visited a port of entry instead of the river. where the illegal crossings happen,” he tweeted.
“He didn't even visit a Border Patrol station and didn't make any public comments or ask any questions,” the reporter added.

He did not visit the actual border. He visited a fake border for a later operation to say he visited the border. It was more like a kiss visit instead of looking at what you created the visit. Also, nothing happened after that visit, so it was a waste of time. So no, this visit does not…

Border crossings can be controlled; Biden simply won't do anything because it would interfere with his plans. pic.twitter.com/tw3Br2pdTe
