With a nonchalant attitude and an absence of basic decency, he actually celebrated the legal action taken against Trump. This explicit display of bias and disturbing enthusiasm for legal action against a former president indicates the level of partisanship and prejudice influencing the January 6 commission.

Fanone’s outrageous response highlights the lack of objectivity that has tainted this process since its inception. It raises questions about the fairness and integrity of the committee’s proceedings, where a witness is found encouraging an accusation rather than upholding the principles of impartiality.

Unfortunately, this incident only confirms fears that the January 6 commission is/was more influenced by political vendettas than the rule of law. The American people deserve better than this. They deserve a fair and impartial investigation into the events of that fateful day. As the J6 lawsuits continue, one can only hope that justice will prevail, not partisanship.
