A Kentucky Democrat has been surrounded by outrage over her bizarre remarks suggesting that pedophiles should be given child sex dolls as “release” to avoid real abuse.

Left-leaning Bluegrass State Sen. Karen Berg became a social media star for all the wrong reasons when video of her scathing comments at a committee hearing last week went viral.

Lawmakers were debating a bill banning the purchase of kinky sex toys when Berg spoke about Internet research she had done on the benefits of using dolls for minors attracted to people (MAPS), the Orwellian term that 'left has invented to normalize child abusers. .

Berg tried to mitigate the fallout with a statement clarifying his remark, but the damage was done.

“As a mother and as a doctor, of course, I am deeply concerned about the harm of pedophilia and I am sorry if my question to the committee did not convey that,” she said. “I voted in favor of House Bill 207 to ban child sex dolls, a position that aligns with my commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our youth and holding perpetrators accountable.”
