The post-apocalyptic film “Leave the World Behind,” which was produced by Obama's Higher Ground Productions and is currently streaming on Netflix, was ripped apart on Fox News for blatant racism.
A memorable clip from the film has the black daughter of a successful black man telling her father that white people can't be trusted.
“Remember that if the world falls apart, trust should not be easily handed out to anyone, especially white people,” admonishes the daughter. “Even mom would agree on that.”
While the film was being excoriated on the right, leftists charged that most of them had not even seen the film according to the daily beast. However, many who have seen the film consider it to have racist undertones.
“The star-studded film, an adaptation of the 2020 best-selling book of the same name, stars Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali. The thriller has been equally polarizing among critics and audiences, with much of the directed at its languid pace, simplistic themes, and frustrating ending. Coleman Spilde of The Daily Beast, for example, called it an “excruciatingly dull” film that “knows how to amp up the tension without answering questions or saying anything new.” , the Daily Beast noted.

The movie is about a white family on a weekend getaway. Julia Roberts plays the mother and at the beginning proclaims that she “hates people.”
They rent a beautiful house near the beach and the owners show up unexpectedly at night. They are black and Roberts doesn't seem to think they could actually own the house. They ask to stay there despite being rented for a blackout. Roberts protests too much, but they finally let them stay. Racial innuendos are thick throughout the film.
“Amanda's unrelenting suspicion of GH and Ruth keeps the film on a perpetual boil.” USA Today he stated during an interview with the film's director. “But the motivations behind his feelings can be seen in two ways, sometimes unflinchingly racist (how can these black people own this ultra-posh vacation home, he suggests) and at other reasonable limits (why do these strangers show up at our door at almost midnight claiming there is a blackout?).
On Fox's “Outnumbered,” co-host Emily Compagno said, “This particular scene is being singled out for sowing racial division,” referring to the black daughter's statement to her father.
Co-host Kayleigh McEnany weighed in on the film and former President Obama, saying she would “love to know” if the former president was “okay” with that particular line because “it would be a big deal.”

“It seems to me an important headline when… this is Critical Race Theory in a nutshell. You are an oppressed or an oppressor according to the color of your skin,” he pointed out. “This is the ideology that this line represents. Well , why isn't it a headline in all these major newspapers?
McEnany added: “I went to Google News and the Variety headline was 'Barack Obama Sends Script Notes for Netflix's New Disaster, Leaving People Frightened,' “Barack Obama Gives Major Comment on Script Leave the world back.” I notice that basically when he advised what the end of the world would look like, the director freaked out. That's the headline! Why isn't it the headline… the former president reviewed a script embedded with this racist line and how did it happen?!”

Co-host Molly Line obviously didn't see the move, and as a result, neither did McEnany, and she has no intention of seeing it. She did, however, see the clip.
“I have a lot of movies to watch before this one,” he stated. “I won't see it.”
'Leave The World Behind', the new Netflix movie produced by the Obamas, is straight out of the globalist playbook: predictive programming, fear-mongering and anti-white sentiment.
