Kayleigh McEnany advises Trump to debate Kamala Harris immediately

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany advised Republican nominee Donald Trump on Monday to challenge Vice President Kamala Harris in three debates in the near future.

McEnany said Trump's biggest challenge in the 2024 election cycle will be achieving Harris speak without a teleprompter and get her out of the “coverup mode” of the liberal media. The former press secretary asked the former president “not to wait” until the Democratic National Convention to challenge Harris in his first debate.

“[T]the press doesn't want me to do any sitting,” McEnany said. “They're in cover-up mode. If this were Trump, there would be in the corner of the screen on every major liberal network, a countdown or a count instead of how many days, how many hours he has gone without a free will interview or press conference. It's outrageous, it's in the press' interest to ask for this, but they don't because they've flipped the script. Now it's stealth mode for Kamala.

“She can't handle a freewheeling scenario, there's no question about it. And it's Trump's job to get her off the teleprompter,” McEnany continued. “I said the challenge this cycle would be to get Biden out of that metaphorical basement. The basement became the Oval Office. Now Trump's challenge is to get her off the teleprompter. That's why he should challenge her to three debates and don't wait until after the DNC. Don't let it wind down, debate this week.”

Harris doesn't sat down for a single interview since launching his presidential campaign on July 21. Instead, the vice president has participated in several campaign rallies instead of media appearances following a 2021 interview with Lester Holt in which she claimed to have been at the US-Mexico border. seconds at Semaphore

trump agreed on Saturday to participate in a Sept. 4 debate hosted by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. The debate was originally going to be presented by ABC News on September 10 between Trump and President Joe Biden, who he fell out of the running after his disastrous debate performance on June 27.

Michael Tyler, Harris' campaign communications director, accused Trump of being “too scared” to show up for the original debate and instead relied on Fox News “to bail him out.” seconds on NBC News.
