Kamala's demonstration ends in disaster, with thousands stranded and employees in tears

Political scientist Josiah Lippincott reported a chaotic scene after Vice President Kamala Harris' rally in Detroit.

After the demonstration where Harris rebuked pro-Palestinian speakers and accused them of helping former President Donald Trumpthousands were reportedly stranded when they couldn't find shuttles to take them back to where their vehicles were parked.

“The campaign staff has no idea what's going on. The rally was held near a UPS delivery center, so dozens of trucks mingled with the buses. Tempers are high,” Lippincott wrote in a thread on X.

“The white man is going alone. There are a lot of people who still need a ride, but this driver won't change much, so no one got on except me. I'm planning to walk from his drop-off point. Hahaha,” he joked.

In a later tweet, he explained why things were so confusing.

“The rally was at the circled hangar. But it's on a spur of the main road highlighted in red. The arrow is the turning point for the buses. Add a bunch of UPS cargo trucks, confused campaign staff and tired and hungry rally goers and you get complete chaos.”

UPDATE: I kindly asked my driver to change the drop off locations on his GPS. He happily complied. The power to have an IQ higher than room temperature.

“I think I convinced the driver to vote for Trump. He cheered me on when I got off,” Lippincott posted, adding more photos from the rally.

He clarified at the end of the thread that the white buses were for union workers, while the school buses were shuttles for attendees.

The larger white buses in the photos above are not shuttles. They were for union members and others who were transported by the campaign. The Kamalas used school buses as shuttles.
