Kamala Campaigns Against Child Tax Credit, JD Vance Says Dems Are Anti-Family [VIDEO]

During an appearance on Megyn Kelly's show, JD Vance took a strong stand against the Democratic Party, accusing it of becoming increasingly hostile to families and children.

Vance cited examples such as the extended masking of young children after the pandemic and the Harris campaign's opposition to the child tax credit as evidence of this trend.

“I know the media wants to attack me and want me to back down on this, Megyn, but the simple fact that I was saying is that having children, being a father, becoming a mother, I really think it changes your perspective in a a pretty deep way,” Vance said. “This is, of course, something we've recognized for hundreds of years in this country that human civilization has always recognized.”

Vance emphasized that his criticism was not aimed at people who do not have children. “It's not a criticism of people who don't have children. I have explicitly said in my statements, despite the fact that the media have lied about it, that it is not about criticizing people who, for various reasons, did not have children”, he clarified.

He then focused on the policies and rhetoric of the Democratic Party. “This is about criticizing the Democratic Party for becoming anti-family and anti-child. We have to ask, Megyn, why do we have unmasking of young children years after the pandemic is over? Why do we have the Harris campaign coming out this morning , Megyn, and say we shouldn't have the child tax credit, which lowers tax rates for parents of young children? It's because they've become anti-family and anti-anti.”

Vance expressed his commitment to advocate for parents. “I'm proud to stand up for parents and I hope parents recognize that I'm a guy who wants to fight for you. I want to fight for your interests. I want to fight for your participation in the country. And that's what this is fundamentally about,” he declared.

To conclude his remarks, Vance urged honesty in addressing these issues. “Democrats, in the last five to ten years, Megyn, have become anti-family. It's built into their politics. It's built into the way they talk about parents and children, and it's time we call it out. I don't think we should back off, Megyn. I think we should be honest about the problem.”
