Republican nominee Donald J. Trump suggested there's more than a little resentment from lame-duck President Joe Biden for Vice President Kamala Harris after he was ousted.
This week is likely to be a happy week for Biden, who instead of accepting the Democratic nomination in Chicago will have to see his own DEI hiring lovingly dragged out by the media and those he mistakenly thought were his friends, an awkward situation for a proud and stubborn man.
Trump added fuel to the fire during a speech to supporters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, a state critical to his hopes of returning to the White House and also in Biden's home turf.
Trump: Joe Biden hates him, okay? He hates her. You don't mind me turning off the teleprompter for a second, do you? Joe Biden hates him. This was the overthrow of a precedent. I spent a hundred million dollars fighting Biden pic.twitter.com/hJvvXWEH0D

“Hey, look, look, Joe Biden hates him, OK,” Trump said. “He hates her. You don't mind me turning off the teleprompter for a second, do you? Joe Biden hates her. That was the takedown of a president. That was a takedown.”
Trump also suggested the feeling may be mutual and Harris wants to distance himself from Biden, which seems obvious given the party's decision to schedule the geriatric career politician's speech on the first day of the convention when no one will be watching .
“Kamala Harris wants NOTHING TO DO WITH CROOKED JOE BIDEN. She's being thrown off the Monday Night Stage aka Death Valley. Now she HATES Obama and Crazy Nancy more than she hates me! She's an angry man, as she should be be. He was robbed of the presidency: 'It was a coup!'” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The installation of Harris, a national joke just a month ago, over Biden, who won the primaries in a landslide, just smells very bad for the party of “our democracy” and is so unseemly that even the New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd calls it a spade. a shovel

In his Saturday piece titled “Dems Are Delighted. But A Coup's Still A Coup,” Dowd writes that all the talk about the “joy” of “Kamalot” is just a facade hiding a party that is seething with resentment over how Biden's replacement was handled.
“Top Democrats are full of resentment even as they are about to try to put a united front on the United Center in the Windy City,” he wrote. “A group of powerful Democrats maneuvered behind the scenes to knock an incumbent president out of the race.”
“The presidency was taken away from Joe Biden, and I'm not a fan of Biden,” Trump said during a recent news conference. “But I'll tell you what, from a constitutional point of view, from any point of view you look at, they took away the presidency . . .”
