Jim Jordan “coming in Hot” on Chris Wray of the FBI during opening statements [VIDEO]

During a congressional hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan fiercely questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray about inadequate security measures at a recent Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Jordan's opening statement demanded answers about the decisions made before, during and after the event, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability.

“About decisions made before the demonstration, questions about actions during the demonstration, and questions about statements made after the conclusion of the event,” Jordan began. He pressed Wray at several critical points. “Before the rally, why were requests for additional resources to the president's security detail denied? Why weren't all the buildings insured? There were a finite number of buildings that needed to be secured. Why wasn't this done? Why was the president allowed on stage when there was a suspicious person on the property during the rally?

Jordan detailed the critical moments of the attack, seeking a complete timeline. “What exactly happened between 6:09 and 6:14, those five critical minutes? We know from the FBI director and deputy director meetings and other information we've gathered that at 6:09 the shooter was identified on the roof At 6:10 counter sniper teams were notified At 6:11 the shooter fired several shots, wounding and killing one person At 6:12 the sniper of the counter took down the shooter and at 6:14 President Trump was escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents.We need to know what happened, play-by-play, moment-by-moment, second-by-second, the communications that they took place again during those five critical minutes.”

He then resorted to disinformation spread by the Secret Service and DHS Secretary Mayorkas. “After the demonstration, why did both the Secret Service and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas lie to the American people? On July 14, the day after the attack, Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi , said: “The claim that a member of the former president's security team requested additional security resources that the US Secret Service or the Department of Homeland Security turned down is absolutely false.” The next day, secretary Mayorkas said: “This is an unequivocally false claim. We had not received any requests for additional security measures that were rejected.” But five days later, senior officials repeatedly rejected requests from Donald Trump's security detail for more personnel. And on July 21, The New York Times, confirming what the Washington Post reported, said: “Mr. Guglielmi acknowledged that the Secret Service had rejected requests for additional federal security assets for the detail of the Mr. Trump A 180 Degree Turnaround Why were we initially lied to in the days after the attack in Pennsylvania?

Jordan emphasized the need for answers from Wray on several key issues. “Finally, we hope to learn more today from Director Wray about the shooter, his use of the drone, the explosives in his car, how he got on the roof, and many other questions. We hope that Director Wray's testimony will begin to provide answers to the American people about all these questions and concerns.”

Jordan concluded by highlighting the public's skepticism toward the FBI and the Department of Justice. “A significant portion of the country has a healthy skepticism about the FBI's ability to conduct a fair, honest, open and transparent investigation, and that skepticism is based on what they've witnessed over the past few years. The northern people -American has seen a Biden-Harris Justice Department that can't tell us who planted the pipe bombs on January 6th, can't tell us who leaked the Dobbs opinion, and can't tell us who planted the cocaine at the White House.. This is the same Justice Department that raided President Trump's home, worked with social media companies to censor Americans, led the country to believe Hunter Biden's laptop it was wrong information when at the time they knew it was real and he retaliated against the whistleblowers who came to the committee.”

“Last week, we sent you 12 questions about what happened on July 13. We hope you will answer these questions and the others I have just outlined. And again, we appreciate your presence today and we appreciate your willingness to answer questions,” Jordan said, closing his statement.
