Jewish Miss Universe judge lashed out with threats after Palestinian activist debate

-

A Jewish journalist and Miss Universe pageant judge talks about the death threats she received after debating anti-Israel activist Nerdeen Kiswani on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

“At first it was really harsh anti-Semitic comments like, ‘Go back to Auschwitz, gas prices are down today,'” said Emily Austin. Fox News Digital. “Stupid and stupid [direct messages on social media], but then at some point they escalated to: “Watch your back.” I’m going to get you’, ”A blonde Jewess would be very expensive in Gaza. I’ll be rich when I find you’ or ‘I’ll put a bullet in your head’ or ‘I’ll kill you tomorrow’”.

“Really specific death threats,” he said.

The terrifying threats followed Austin’s confrontation with Kiswani on October 24.

“According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Kiswani is the leader of Within Our Lifetime-United for Palestine (WOL), a New York-based radical group that routinely expresses support for violence against Israel,” reports Fox News Digital . “He has called for ‘Zionists’ to be vilified and expelled from community spaces and has advocated the dissolution of Israel.”

Kiswani entered the national spotlight in May 2022 after delivering the CUNY Law commencement speech in which he criticized “Zionists” and “normalizing” trips to Israel.

Austin, on the other hand, “is engaged in activism related to Israel,” according to Fox News Digital.

The two clashed on Morgan’s show after Kiswani overshadowed intelligence showing that it was a failed Islamic Jihad rocket launch that landed at al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, not an Israeli weapon.

Kiswani called Austin a “genocide denier” and questioned why Morgan wasn’t the one asking the questions as Austin criticized the radical over her condemnation, or lack thereof, of the 9/11 attacks on North American soil.

The threats, Austin told Fox News Digital, started with Kiswani, who posted a photo on Instagram of Austin with a red triangle on his head.

“I really tried to keep it factual, no emotion, like, this is what it is. I was screaming,” Austin said. “He was talking about me, threatening me on Instagram with, like, a red arrow over my head, telling people how fun it was to put a bounty on my head.”

“That’s not so funny,” Austin pointed out.

The threats he received left little to the imagination.

“I’ll kill the shit out of you,” swore one. “I will persecute you as we did the Israeli people.”

He was called names like “stupid Jewish b—h” and “f—ing lying piece of s—t.”

“Another account posted several images of Austin with messages that read ‘Watch your back’ and ‘I’ll catch you,'” reports Fox News Digital.

Even Austin’s mother was targeted via a series of disturbing text messages.

“Now people are violating my privacy, looking up my home address online and posting it or telling me I’m going to hurt you if you don’t do X, Y, Z,” Austin said. “And it’s like you don’t succumb to fear, because that’s not me. Like, you can threaten me all you want.”

Eventually, Austin contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after council members and members of Congress sent him concerned messages.

“They’re investigating every DM, every post,” Austin said. “And I’m so grateful that they’re so handy and a phone call away 24 hours a day.”

The journalist has also hired private security.
