Patrick Hendry, president of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA), criticized the justice system's handling of repeat offenders. “Thankfully, our sister is recovering from this brutal assault. But that's exactly what happens when the justice system cares more about coddling criminals than supporting the cops on the street,” Hendry said.

“We will be vigilant to make sure this person is properly covered and kept off the street. Our sister and her partner did their job. Now everyone else in the criminal justice system must do theirs.” -Patrick Hendry
