“It's wrong and unethical”

-

Georgia updates that “pissed off” the women of “The View” indicated a positive outlook from former President Donald Trump regarding the “appearance of impropriety.”

Since the law against the former president began, while serious, federal indictments have often been handled differently than in the Fulton County, Georgia, RICO case because any potential charges would be untouchable by a pardon of the White House.

So it was no surprise that ABC's “The View” co-hosts who suffer from Trump Disorder Syndrome were outraged that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was under scrutiny for a alleged relationship with his designated special prosecutor, Nathan Wade.

“I think the problem is that there's an appearance of impropriety if you're sleeping, like the district attorney — if you're supposed to be, she won't admit it — if you're sleeping with your special counsel that you appointed for a job and that the person makes money doing this, right?” Sunny Hostin said after Joy Behar sparked the conversation with a clip of Willis playing the victim.

“This is a problem,” he added.

On Friday, the Georgia Senate had voted 30-19 to create a special committee to investigate whether there were conflicts of interest in Wade's hiring of Willis.

Ana Navarro pointed out: “If you sleep with a prosecutor and pay him $650,000… it doesn't matter if you're black, white, green, purple, brown. It is wrong and unethical and I think it goes against the rules of professional regulation”.

At the time of this publication, neither Willis nor Wade have commented on the alleged relationship, and Alyssa Farah Griffin vented frustration over the possibility that Trump might seek to have the case dismissed.

“I'm personally angry about it. This is the case of her life. It's a broad RICO case. It's a tough one. I think she actually has what it takes to prove it. But one of my best friends , Cassidy Hutchinson, spent months in Atlanta under the protection of US marshals to testify in this case and now may collapse because of these allegations of impropriety,” he lamented.

Amid outcries about the potential for at least a delay that could benefit Trump, Navarro returned to her earlier racial comment, saying, “I'm very angry, too, because when you're a woman of color in such a high-position of profile, you know the scrutiny you're going to face is greater than anyone else's and she should have kept her house clean.

“I'll say it's still allegations, but that's how I feel,” Hostin added.

Of course, as the co-hosts were all on their best behavior when discussing the allegations against Willis, Trump didn't get the same treatment as Behar claimed: “You know, this is Trump's playbook. Put -everything. Postpone the border. Postpone the economy. Put everything in. And postpone this case. He thinks, 'Oh, maybe I'll be in charge and not have to go to jail.' That's his whole MO” .
