Also, even if you somehow magically manage to find a definition that is actionable, sustainable, and concrete:
2A applies to all weapons, even those that did not exist at the time 2A was written – Caetano v. Mass. (“the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that did not exist at the time of the founding”)
2A applies to all “weapons of war” – United States v. Miller
You are incapable of finding a modern weapon that doesn’t fit into these categories, lefties.
Requires safe storage of firearms
“Safe storage” laws explicitly violate DC v. Heller and the Second Amendment
To quote Scalia: “…the requirement to keep guns in the home disassembled or inoperable with a trigger lock mechanism violates the Second Amendment.”
Requires background checks for all gun sales.
It does not explicitly endorse the restrictions of the 10th Amendment and the Commerce Clause
Eliminate immunity from liability for gun manufacturers.
This is not only incomprehensibly stupid, but also unenforceable. This would set a legal precedent for all industries that would cripple your economy and judicial system overnight.
Did Aunt Susie die with a drunk driver? We are suing Jack Daniels and Ford out of bankruptcy.
Did Manuel the Killer kill a victim with a hammer? We are suing Home Depot and DeWalt into the ground.
etc. etc. etc.
You can’t make a manufacturer responsible for a consumer misused of your product.
