In his first interview since being very clearly kicked out of the 2024 race, President Biden specifically mentioned former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — saying CBS News Sunday Morning that Democrats in the House and Senate thought would drag down the party's reelection chances.
“Some of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought it would hurt them in the races. And I was worried if I stayed in the race, that would be the issue; you would interview me about why Nancy Pelosi said [something] … and I thought it would be a real distraction” Biden said.

“When I first ran, I thought of myself as the interim president. I can't even say how old I am, it's hard to get it out of my mouth,” he continued, adding that it was a combination. of these factors, along with the priority of “maintaining this democracy,” which guided “his” decision, the NY Post reports
Pelosi, meanwhile, is acting really weird about all this… suggesting that Biden's letter announcing his withdrawal from the race it was not written by him. (duh)

How modernity. news reported last week, it was widely reported that Pelosi told Biden he could resign “the easy way” or be removed “the hard way.” Apparently, Biden is furious with her, as interviewer Lesley Stahl mentioned in this clip.
