Is Biden's Elder Abuse Awareness Day a Cry for Help? (VIDEOS)

In an eyebrow-raising move, President Joe Biden has he proclaimed June 15, 2024, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The irony is not lost on many, given that the president himself has often shown signs of cognitive decline, leading to speculation about his own well-being.

Biden's proclamation states, “Older Americans are beloved members of our families and communities, but for too many of our nation's seniors, the 'golden years' are marred by abuse, neglect or “exploitation”. It underscores the nation's commitment to protecting seniors from various forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, and financial harm.

However, it's hard to ignore the frequent “senior moments” Biden has exhibited publicly. Numerous videos circulating on social media, especially on platforms like X, show Biden in confused states, struggling to complete sentences, forgetting names and losing his train of thought. Critics argue that these incidents point to a man who may be suffering from dementia, raising concerns about whether he is being properly cared for or simply being supported to keep up appearances.

AX, @KanekoaTheGreat posted a clip showing an NBC News poll saying: “More than 3/4 of voters have major or moderate concerns about Biden's physical and mental fitness, including 54% of Democrats” . Republicans aren't the only ones with questions.

At a recent fundraiser, Biden was apparently so confused on stage that Obama had to show him the way … again.

Breanna Morello criticized Biden's statement on Elder Abuse Day while referencing the previous video of Biden freezing at the fundraiser.

Looks like Biden is so far gone he can't even move his head to the music, @LibsofTikTok2 posted.

These social media influencers are calling out elder abuse after these mistakes by Biden.

The proclamation itself acknowledges: “Elder abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse; neglect and abandonment; and financial exploitation”. Given the president's visible struggles, it begs the question: Is Biden's own situation a case of elder abuse by those who are supposed to protect him?

This proclamation is an opportunity for the nation to reflect on the treatment of its elders, including those in positions of power. While the intent behind World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is laudable, the president's own condition serves as a stark reminder that elder abuse can occur in the most unexpected places, even all in the highest office in the land.
