INSIDER: Background: Wray's tinfoil hat further destroys FBI's reputation

FBI Director Christopher Wray giving his agency's seal of approval to the conspiracy theory that former President Donald J. Trump was hit by a bullet marks a new low for his dismal tenure .

Democrats and their cronies were devastated that the assassination attempt on Trump was a near miss and now claim that the ear wound was not from the sniper's bullet.

The conspiracy theory about the bullet comes after a large bandage worn by the GOP candidate during his acceptance speech at the party convention, with talk of the non-bullet wound emanating from the fever swamp of the social networks.

MSNBC hosts and social media cranks are one thing, but Wray joined the ranks of liars and tinfoil hatters during a congressional appearance earlier this week, going out of his way to suggest that Trump might have been affected by something else.

“With respect to former President Trump, there is some question as to whether or not it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit him in the ear,” the director told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

For an agency that has fallen dramatically from grace under a series of poor leaders (Bob Mueller, James Comey and now Wray), the comments were out of hand and will only further erode public trust in the once venerable FBI that is now seen by a considerable number of Americans as the Gestapo of the Democratic Party, and for good reason.

During his time at the helm of the office, Wray has presided over an agency that has devoted a great deal of time and resources to hunting down political enemies of the ruling party, particularly nonviolent protesters, including elderly grandmothers, who were led to what many believe was a hoax fed on January 6, 2021.

Doing without inviting home calls to people posting material the Biden regime disapproves of on social media and storming Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in an unprecedented raid on an opposition party leader that is routinely seen in the banana republics.

At the same time, mass shooters who should be – and in some cases ARE – on the feds' radar have not been bothered to carry out their murderous spree. Not the least of which is the October 2017 shooting on the Las Vegas Strip that the FBI has yet to reveal the alleged shooter's motive to the American people despite a very sketchy and mysterious official government story.

There's also the not inconsiderable matter of Trump's assassination at a Pennsylvania rally two weeks ago, and while it was technically the Secret Service that dropped the ball on security, the FBI director is acting like if it was Joy Reid or Rachel Maddow and promotes conspiracy theories that insinuate that the victim is a liar.

In a Friday post on Truth Social, the nearly-assassinated former president fact-checked the conspiracy director with a picture from The New York Times of the bullet while it was in mid-air.

How toxic is Wray's agency?

A damning report titled “Cult of Narcissism” that was compiled by whistleblowers, both active and retired, reveals that local law enforcement is so suspicious of Wray's hyper-politicized FBI that they are now reluctant to share information with the agency

According to the New York Postlocal law enforcement officers “don't trust the FBI because they believe the FBI in recent years has been operating as a partisan federal agency motivated by a political agenda.”

“Not only are they reluctant to work with the FBI, they have reportedly decided to stop sharing substantive, actionable information about criminal and other intelligence-related activities with the FBI,” Miranda wrote Guess from the newspaper about the report.

A source identifying himself as a 25-year veteran police sergeant said he “can't understand why the FBI isn't pursuing [far-left militant group] Antifa, BLM and pro-Palestinian rioters with the same vigor as the FBI tackled J6 participants.

Another, a veteran cop from an unidentified southern state with 15 years on the job, said many local LEOs “believe they could be targeted by the FBI and the DOJ because of their love for the United States of America and they can be perceived as domestic.” terrorists because of how they can vote.”

The sources said they believed “FBI leadership would exploit any information provided to them to violate the law and constitutional rights of suspects under investigation as well as innocent citizens,” with one comparing the office with “that of a third world country” that “should be dismantled and its staff prosecuted and sentenced to long prison terms”.

Another source who heads a multi-agency task force said that the new members of the FBI team, “do not bother to hide their distaste for disfavored political and religious views. . . . The newest special agents in the FBI identify as “woke or liberal” and are often openly critical of conservative or Christian values.

Aside from manhunting grandmothers, something else seems to be a priority at Wray's FBI.

Perhaps the reverence for alternative sexual lifestyles is just a return to the FBI's roots since the legendary J. Edgar Hoover was reputed to be a transvestite who disguised himself in women's clothing.

Those who believe the FBI should be disbanded, tear down its headquarters and sow the earth with salt might be on to something.
