In what may turn out to be the strongest endorsement for the Trump-Vance ticket, Citizen Liz Cheney sounded with all the impact of an incumbent who had lost her own primary.
Like graveyard humor, after former President Donald Trump's assassination attempt, suggestions that his choice of running mate was “insurance” were met with comical and macabre. Either way, for those on the fence about the GOP leader's choice for a possible successor, angering the right RINOs was effective at frustrating Democrats.
As such, Never Trumper former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney (R) counted herself among the first to suffer from Vance Disorder Syndrome when she recalled an earlier post criticizing Ohio Sen. JD Vance who had made on February 5. 2024.
“Yesterday,” the post read in reaction to the senator's appearance on ABC News, “@JDVance1 claimed that Trump could challenge Supreme Court rulings as president. Vance also admitted that he would have done what Vice President Pence refused to do on January 6: help Trump take power illegally. That's tyranny. Neither Trump nor Vance are fit to serve.”
On Tuesday morning, she captioned the shot to reiterate: “JD Vance has vowed to do what Mike Pence wouldn't do: void an election and take power illegally. He says the president can ignore the rulings of our courts. He would capitulate to Russia and sacrifice the freedom of our allies in Ukraine. Trump's GOP is no longer the party of Lincoln or the Constitution.”

Meanwhile, his own doubling down on the upset fell behind the trend, as Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik recirculated the post hours earlier as “one of the best endorsements” the vice-presidential candidate could receive.
“Liz Cheney hating you is one of the best endorsements. I AM SOLD!” the social media maven claimed as followers echoed the sentiment.

Every RINO tear convinced me more that Trump made the right decision. It will be fun to watch Vance grow up.

Me: I'm not sure about Vance….
Cheney: I hate it.
Me: Okay then Vance!— Ry Brooks (@RyBrooks) July 16, 2024
Lizzy vs. Vance? Another great support for Vance! Thanks @Liz_Cheney

I didn't have Vance on my bingo card, but depending on who upset me with the choice, I'm 110% on board!

During the month of February interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC News' “This Week,” the anchor tried to bait the senator with a controlled narrative that included a question about whether or not the president “should abide by legitimate Supreme Court rulings.”
In his response, the Ohio lawmaker said: “The Constitution says that the Supreme Court can rule, but if the Supreme Court, and look, I hope they don't, but if the Supreme Court said that the president of the United States States cannot fire a general, that would be an illegitimate decision and the president must have the prerogative of Article 2 of the Constitution to direct the military as he sees fit.”
“This is just basic constitutional legitimacy,” he continued. “You are talking about a hypothetical where the Supreme Court tries to direct the army. I don't think that will happen, George. But of course, if he did, the president would have to answer for it. There are multiple examples throughout American history of the president doing just that.”
