The political establishment is furious with Republican front-runner Donald J. Trump as the $60 billion gift to Ukraine remains stalled in Congress, but the leader of the war-torn country has responded with a generous offer.
While US pundits and politicians are spitting venom at Trump for insisting that NATO members should pay their fair share for their own defense, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited the former and perhaps the future president to join him on the front lines for a first… look at the situation.
During remarks at the Munich Security Conference, where he appeared alongside prominent geopolitical experts Vice President Kamala Harris, a trip that President Joe Biden's officials wisely chose to avoid, the diminutive leader of Eastern Europe said it would welcome Trump's presence.
“If Mr. Trump will come, I am ready even to go with him to the front line,” said the Ukrainian strongman. “I invited him publicly, but it depends on his wishes,” he added, appearing to claim he had previously extended a similar offer.

“I think if we're having a conversation about how to end the war, we need to show the people who make the decisions, what it means: real war. Not on Instagram, real war,” he said, likely meaning Truth Social where Trump maintains the their presence on social networks.
While the offer seemed sincere at a time when support for the proxy war with Russia is on the wane in the US, there are some who suspect that any trip to the front lines of the conflict could be a one-way trip to in Russia trump

HELL NO! Does Zelensky really think Trump would come? The real question here is, who suggested to Zelensky to extend an invitation to Trump? Hmmm… Hi Hillary, your thoughts? pic.twitter.com/CqOP71rGfY

In more Ukraine-related news, Biden blames Republicans in Congress for the withdrawal from Avdiivka, a major victory for the Russians who raised their flag over the rubble of the city they had nearly encircled after months of fierce fighting.
The surrender of the longtime Ukrainian stronghold is just the latest sign that the war in which the United States is getting more deeply involved is not going as well as media propagandists would have the public believe american
“This morning, the Ukrainian military was forced to withdraw from Avdiivka after Ukrainian soldiers had to ration ammunition due to dwindling supplies as a result of congressional inaction, leading to Russia's first notable gains in months,” the White House said in a Saturday reading of Biden. call with the Ukrainian leader.
On Saturday, Biden demanded that Congress, a co-equal branch of government, return to Washington, DC so Zelensky can get his money.

Biden's comments come as he spends another weekend at his home in Delaware, more hypocrisy after he just complained about the House taking a two-week recess.
