As literally thousands of people continue to pour across the U.S. border illegally, a surreal scene has unfolded at the nation's airports.
In videos posted on social media, an eyebrow-raising phenomenon appeared to be developing as dozens of alleged migrants were seen traveling from one destination to another.
On Tuesday, journalist Ashley St. Clair blew up the story about Delta Airlines allegedly facilitating the travel of illegal migrants while documenting the scene at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
“My Delta flight from Phoenix appears to be flying migrants who crossed the border and are being sent to New York. When I asked a Delta representative if that was the case, his response was, “What does it matter, are they human too?” the conservative commenter wrote in one of several posts about X. “What is going on???? Taxpayer money pays for this????”

“It is unclear whether the passengers were newly arrived migrants who crossed the US-Mexico border or whether they came from detention centers. However, migrants are not considered to be in the country illegally after being processed and applying for asylum ,” the Daily Mail reported.
St. Clair continued to post other videos from the airport where she was leaving as she headed to New York.

Last week, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs ordered National Guard troops to the Mexico-Mexico border, saying “Once again, the federal government is refusing to do its job to secure the our border and keep our communities safe,” in an open rebuke of President Joe. The Biden administration.

Reporter Tayler Hansen shared a video from the Phoenix airport on Wednesday where he said he saw more than 40 migrants in just 30 minutes, explaining that they are “getting priority boarding” and “skipping security lines.” .
He reported that migrants from Africa, Venezuela and Mexico, among other regions, are at the airport and many are heading to North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.

While it's unclear whether all the travelers seen in the video are actually illegal migrants, some who spoke were able to confirm that they had crossed into the United States and were headed to other cities.
“Both @Delta and @AmericanAir were flying migrants to multiple locations giving them priority seating,” Hansen added, reporting for Tenet Media in another video.
“In all my years of reporting, I've never seen anything like this,” Hansen shared in another video of a “makeshift migrant detention site in Eagle Pass, TX.”

Fox News National Correspondent Bill Melugin cited Customs and Border Protection sources as noting that “more than 12,600 migrants have been found at the southern border in the past 24 hours, the highest total in a single day never registered”.
“The actual number is *significantly* higher because there are still thousands waiting to be processed at Eagle Pass and they are not counted in the numbers until they are put into the computers,” he added in a post on X.

“Yesterday's official numbers include more than 11,000 Border Patrol apprehensions of illegal immigrants and more than 1,600 migrants found at CBP ports of entry,” Melugin added. “This breaks the record of 12,000 encounters that was set just two weeks ago.”
