Maryland police announced Thursday that a 17-year-old illegal alien has been arrested in the July 2022 killing of 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton.
Hamilton’s body was found in a mobile home in Rancho Estates on E. Inca Street in Aberdeen on July 27.
The Aberdeen Police Department said the victim was autistic and had recently moved to the area from Norfolk, Virginia, with her 22-year-old boyfriend, who police have clarified was unrelated to the crime
The Maryland Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be strangulation.
“The Hamilton family, the community and the police department were dismayed because it was a very senseless act,” said APD Lt. William Reiber. “Homicides don’t happen often in Aberdeen, so when this happens people wonder why.”
According to APD, Hamilton’s alleged killer is a criminal non-citizen from El Salvador in the United States illegally, who US Customs and Border Protection has verified is a member of the terrorist gang Malva Salvatrucha 13 (MS -13).
APD noted that the suspect’s DNA was compared to evidence recovered at the crime scene by the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division. Evidently, the test results were more than enough to warrant an arrest warrant for first degree murder.
On January 15, the non-citizen criminal was arrested in Edgewood, Maryland.
The illegal alien believed to be responsible for Hamilton’s death is being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center. He has reportedly been charged with rape in the first and second degree, a sex offense in the third degree, robbery, assault and theft.
Reiber said the arrest of the non-citizen criminal helped ensure that Kayla “wasn’t a number … That it meant something.”
Hamilton’s mother, Tammy Nobles, told CBS: “I’m her mother, I’m supposed to be there to protect her, but you can’t protect your children when they’re adults… But I feel responsible . I was supposed to protect him.”
The task of keeping Americans safe is made more difficult by the ease with which foreign criminals can enter the nation.
ICE indicated that so far this fiscal year, more than 717,660 illegal aliens have stolen from the border. Over the previous two fiscal years, more than four million illegal aliens were found at the border.
More than 12,000 non-citizen criminals were arrested last year on suspicion of having committed various serious crimes. 62 were convicted of murder and over 365 were convicted of sex crimes.
In fiscal year 2021, ICE enforcement and removal operations arrested “12,025 people with serious felony convictions. Offenses associated with noncitizens arrested in fiscal year 2021 included 1,506 homicide-related offenses, 3,415 sexual assaults, 19.57492, sexual assaults, 19.57492.
ICE recently announced that they had arrested twice-deported MS-13 gangster Herberth Bonilla-Garcia on El Salvador’s 100 Most Wanted list in Virginia on December 1st.
MS-13 gangster Kareem Ernesto Leiva, 37, will go on trial next week for gruesomely torturing a toddler in California before allegedly killing the 10-year-old. Leiva, also in the United States illegally, was also accused of abusing women and stabbing a fellow inmate while in prison.
The Department of Justice stated on December 19 that Ms-13, “one of the largest street gangs in the United States, is a national and international gang composed primarily of immigrants or descendants of El Salvador and other Central American countries.”
MS-13 has “mottoes consistent with its rules, beliefs, expectations, and reputation, including “kill, violate, control,” which translates to “kill, rape, control,” and “see, hear, and shut up,” which means, “See nothing, hear nothing, and say nothing,” the DOJ reported. “One of the main rules of MS-13 is that its members must attack and kill rivals, often called ‘, whenever possible.”
