Journalist and podcast host Megyn Kelly joined the barrage of comments sparked by a video of a liberal woman expressing her shock after a date with a “boys man.”
TikToker Madi Hart shared the details of her date and how her traditional masculinity caused “feminism” to leave her body. The video prompted reactions from many men online, including columnist and podcast host Matt Walsh, whose comments drew a swift response from Kelly.
“Guys, I went on a date this week and felt the feminism leave my body,” said the young woman in the video.
Explaining how she lives in the “artsy” part of Los Angeles, the self-described comedian shared that she dated a “bro” from Santa Monica who blew her away by paying for everything.

“I go on dates with a lot of men and women who, you know, live here, and there's always a negotiation about who pays,” she said.
“I fell on a date with the most guys I've ever dated,” Hart said. “It happened to me in an organic way.”
His masculinity surprised her, she admitted, adding that it made her question her liberal views on gender and equality.
“It really triggered something wild in me; I'm not going to lie,” she laughed.
“It might be time to get away from all these, you know, liberal snowflakes on the East Side,” Hart concluded.
While she readily admitted the surprising reaction she had to her date's manly gestures, Hart captioned her post with a disclaimer of sorts.
“IT'S A JOKE!!!” wrote: “I also checked his policy before connecting with him, don't worry.”
Hart's video, which has more than 400,000 views on TikTok, also generated a ton of comments on X:
The girl goes on a date with a manly man and wipes out all her woke programming. There is still hope for the next generation of young people, as long as they can get away from the liberal snowflakes of the soy boy. pic.twitter.com/y8qry4jOud

I don't think it was the fact that I paid for things that attracted him. It was the fact that he took responsibility for everything. He was taking control. He took her on a date so he took responsibility for everything. That was attractive. A real man does.

“She's impressed that the guy paid, which is fine. Women are naturally attracted to providers,” Walsh wrote to X. “But if she likes that aspect of traditional masculinity, she has to accept the rest and be willing to playing her part and being traditionally feminine. That's where things tend to break down for feminists.”
Her comment prompted a response from Kelly.
“Actually, no, she doesn't. She can find a man who pays and also gets completely hot for a working woman who doesn't cook or act like any kind of traditional wife,” the former host wrote from Fox News.
