The slow trickle of Democratic House support for President Joe Biden could soon turn into a flood as vulnerable lawmakers begin to act out of self-preservation.

In the latest defection, DCCC front-runner Angie Craig (D-MN) has spoken out against the 81-year-old leader's suddenly flat re-election bid, calling for Biden to drop his bid before he loses the election against former President Donald J. Trump, the nightmare scenario for leftists.

“As an elected leader, I feel a responsibility to be honest about what I believe, even when it's hard to hear,” Craig said in a Saturday post on X, sharing a statement calling for Biden to stop dating. “President Biden is a good man and I appreciate his life of service. But I think he should step aside for the next generation of leadership. The stakes are too high.”

The thumbs up from the Minnesota congresswoman about Biden came shortly after her heavily promoted interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, a longtime party loyalist who was brought in to clean up the Biden debate on CNN.

While the former Clinton staffer served softball after softball to the battered octogenarian, Biden came across as stubborn, self-centered and downright delusional. At one point in the 22-minute interview, Biden said only “the Lord Almighty” could force him out of the race.

Maybe so, but that didn't stop Craig from doing his part to push the weak candidate out the door.

In his headline statement, Craig first addressed Biden's record, bringing it up before throwing him under the wheels of the Democratic clown bus.

“However, given what I saw and heard from the president during last week's debate in Atlanta, along with the lack of a strong response from the president himself after that debate, I do not believe that the president can campaign effectively and win against Donald Trump,” she said.

“This is not a decision I have made lightly, but there is simply too much at stake to risk a second Donald Trump presidency. That is why I am respectfully asking President Biden to withdraw as the Democratic nominee for a second term as president and allow a new generation of leaders to step forward,” Craig added, without naming who should replace him, but the buzz is building for the vice president. Kamala Harris will be moved to the front of the line in DEI's definitive promotion.

The president's disastrous debate made it clear that there is no way to reverse the downward trajectory of his poll numbers, which were already in a death spiral, and one Senate Democrat warned that the Biden Titanic has the potential to suck in more party legislators. together with him

“So if we get it really bad at the presidential level, that creates a strong ripple effect,” Sen. Peter Welch (D-VT) he said CNN in an interview before the ABC interview.

While members of the Democratic-controlled upper house have yet to defect, signs are growing that they could very soon.

“I think the president needs to do more,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said during a Sunday morning appearance on CNN. “I'm not advising this campaign, but if I were, I'd probably suggest that the president go out and hold a town hall, then hold a press conference.”

The Connecticut gun grabber also talked about former Biden's ability to BS voters, calling him “one of the best retail politicians this country has ever seen,” but this version of the swamp in Washington, DC, no longer exists.
