'I believe so!' Nikki Haley's donor says you 'wouldn't believe' where her big donations come from

Fox News Business host Neil Cavuto interviewed a Nikki Haley donor who candidly shared more information than Cavuto likely bargained for.

Building up to the Iowa Caucus where Haley ended up taking third place 19.1% percent of the vote, Cavuto asked Haley donor Andy Sabin if he was concerned that his robust “money train” was in danger of drying up.

“We actually have a big fundraiser on the 30th^th of January”, began Sabin. “In a major apartment in New York, uh, where we're raising a huge amount of money.”

And then Sabin let the cat out of the bag.

“To believe be it or not, a number of them [donations] coming from the Democrats.”

That little detail likely won't come as a surprise to grassroots conservative voters who do to believe that Democrats have been behind Haley's recent surge in support.

After a brief and somewhat awkward pause, Cavuto asked about who exactly resides in that “big” New York apartment.

“I can't tell you that,” Sabin laughed. “I'm sorry, I, uh, I just wish I could tell you,” he continued before unloading some more interesting tidbits.

“Well, all I can tell you is that one of the biggest…” he said as the audio seemed to fail. Not entirely sure what he said, but it sure sounded like the word “Democrat” was spoken again before the audio cleared as Sabin continued.

“One of my best friends, you wouldn't to believe, who has never voted for a Republican, is co-hosting this benefit. This fundraiser.”

Cavuto went on to note that Democratic voters who have been dismayed by Biden might consider a more moderate Republican candidate or an independent candidate.

One called, 'RINO' may be?

“I think a lot of that is real,” Sabin responded to Cavuto's comments. “When you see Nikki Haley 17 points over Biden, versus Trump two to four, it has to come from somewhere.

“So he's coming from Democrats and independents who don't want either Biden or Trump. I'd bet he'd be the last person standing … he's got the money to do it.”

I bet yes!

Sabin admitted that Trump's chances of winning the primary are “excellent,” but worried that “he's in such a precarious position with all the chaos, I don't know how it's going to end.”

“It would be nice to know that Nikki Haley could jump in here with the amount of support from Democrats, Republicans and independents to take over this position.”

At the time, Sabin said he would “absolutely, without a doubt” vote for Trump if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee.

“It's scary to think about what's running on the other side,” he said.

While Sabin's revelations weren't exactly shocking, boasting them out loud amused many, leading to X having “Never Nikki“sentiment and accusations:

I'm not a fan of her at all.

That said, aside from the obvious hypothesis of why Democrats want her, could there be some Democrats who are sick of Biden and she's the closest they'll ever come to voting for a Republican?
