“Our investigation has produced significant evidence suggesting that President Biden knew, participated, and benefited from his family profiting from the Biden name,” said Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky. .) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). ) said in a set statement.
“We planned to question Hunter Biden about this record of evidence, but he brazenly defied two subpoenas, choosing to read a prepared statement outside the Capitol instead of testifying as required. Hunter Biden's deliberate refusal to comply with our subpoenas is in contempt of Congress and warrants referral to the United States Attorney's office for prosecution,” the statement continued. “We're not going to give him special treatment because of his last name.”
I WILL SEE
THEN: When Democrats were in the majority, they emphasized the importance of adhering to congressional subpoenas.
NOW: Democrats are giving special treatment to Hunter Biden and defending him in an attempt to set the terms of his subpoena.
