Two Fox News anchors chided an accusatory rally against the former president for sounding “somehow worse than Geraldo Rivera.”
On Monday after Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron ruled that former President Donald Trump must pay more than $355 million in his civil fraud case in New York, the panel on “The Five ” got into a heated debate. Although token Democrat Jessica Tarlov struggled to deflect while acknowledging that “emotions are hot at the table,” it was her and the judge's claims that galvanized her co-hosts.
“Where do you get them? Where do you get that from?” Jeanine Pirro asked after the Democratic strategist pushed the idea that the president's business had three separate ledgers.
“Engoron?!” Pyrrhus continued in disbelief. “He's crazy. This is a judge who decides cases based on emotion.”
“I think the emotion is hot on the table and it's not coming from me,” Tarlov said as he prepared for ACT for America founder Brigitte Gabriel to blast her as, “Worse than Geraldo Rivera, Fox News has gone far to the left. !”

“So since Donald Trump first ran, he's been arguing, 'If they could do this to me, they could do this to you.' they're sexually assaulting women,” the Fox News co-host went on to accuse Trump. “They don't store classified documents in the toilet. They don't encourage an insurgency.”
The dialogue that had been built by investor Kevin O'Leary, widely known as wonderful lordwho declared that he would “never invest in New York now” and that he was not alone after the sentencing, continued with co-host Greg Gutfeld to reduce the sentence against Trump to a relatable level.
Claiming that what the president's business had done was no different than aggressively negotiating for a raise after a contract expired, he argued: “There's no fraud here. That's why you're raising other things”.
“No, it's not. I started with that and then said it was actually a pattern,” he tried to defend before Jesse Watters got the last word on the matter.
“I was going to say, obviously, with respect, Jessica, you know nothing about real estate, real estate appraisals, real estate development, or the IRS or getting loans from big banks to develop skylines in New York City,” the host began of primetime. . “Donald Trump did more for New York City than a thousand Letitia James.”
“And if you look at this history of this case, now he's gone [former New York Gov. Andrew] Cuomodonald trump, the NRAthe NYPD and she's done nothing about street crime, nothing about real white-collar crime,” Watters continued. “And then her fake friend [Manhattan District Attorney] Alvin Bragg, if you're just trying to fend for yourself by working in a warehouse or on the subway, he's after you.
“That's why 160 companies have left New York. That's why almost a million New Yorkers have left. This is an unsafe climate if you have a particular political opinion,” he suggested before confronting President Joe Biden and alleged criminal bribery of the Biden family.
