Hillary Clinton, better known for her 2016 election loss than anything else, made a surprise cameo at the 2024 Tony Awards with all the grace and humility you'd expect.

Greeted by rapturous applause and a bit of a standing ovation, Clinton took center stage at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. The former secretary of state and first lady, who now produces a Broadway show called Suffs about women's suffrage, couldn't resist poking fun at her own election disaster.
That's how I found out Hillary Clinton was executive producing a musical about suffragettes called Suffs lmao. This is a 30 Rock bit pic.twitter.com/2ziHPgJsNP

“I've been on a lot of stages, but this is really special,” Clinton shared with an odd mix of self-reflection and misplaced pride. “I kind of know how hard it is to make a change.” Very few in the crowd laughed at Clinton's joke about her 2016 loss to Donald Trump.
Clinton, displaying her famous knack for self-promotion, took the opportunity to remind the audience of the importance of voting in the upcoming 2024 presidential race between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Because, of course, who better to lecture about the election than the woman who managed to lose one to a reality TV star?
Not surprisingly, not everyone was impressed by Clinton's presence at the Tony Awards. Social media was abuzz with scathing comments, with one person comparing her appearance to antics worthy of Robert De Niro.
The Democrats were like, “How can I do something creepier than Robert DeNiro?”

Other critics roasted Hillary for her fashion sense, equating her mumu to your grandmother's tacky couch.
