Here's what Trump told the Secret Service seconds after he was shot

Hot mic audio from members of former President Donald Trump's Secret Service captured a moment of Trump asking guards to stand down for the crowd seconds after shots rang out at a campaign rally on Saturday.

How trump was speaking at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, chaos erupted after loud gunshots could be heard in the crowd. As supporters began to scream, Trump could be seen holding his ear with members of the Secret Service who immediately jumped on stage to protect the former president.

When the gunfire stopped, service members could be heard on their microphones initiating the green light to move Trump to his motorcade vehicle.

“Ready, move! Up, move!” a service member could be heard.

“Mister get ready, Mister get ready,” said another.

As you could see the members of the auxiliary service trump above, the former president could be heard asking to grab something as guards used their bodies to protect Trump. However, as they began, Trump could be heard saying “wait, wait, wait” as he looked into the crowd and raised his fist.

As supporters cheered loudly for the former president, Trump appeared to say “fight” as he continued to pump his fist in the air before being taken into his vehicle.

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger confirmed the shooter has died and at least one rally attendee was killed, according to the Associated Press. The Secret Service later confirmed Goldinger's statement. following the attacktrump released a statement on his Truth Social account thanking law enforcement for their service and extending his prayers for the supporter who was killed.

“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement agencies for their quick response to the shooting that just happened in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person who died at the demonstration and also the family of another person who was seriously injured. It is unbelievable that such an act could take place in our country,” Trump wrote.

The former president claimed he had been shot “with a bullet that went through the top” of his right ear.

“I knew immediately something was wrong as I heard a hissing, gunshots and immediately felt the bullet break through the skin. There was a lot of bleeding so I realized what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA! ” Trump continued.
