During the match between the teams of Israel and Paraguay at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, protesters waving Palestinian flags unleashed a series of Nazi salutes and chanted “Heil Hitler” as Israel's national anthem was booed.

Their banner, which read “Genocide Olympics”, added fuel to the shameful spectacle.

The protesters were removed as the match concluded, with Paraguay securing a 4-2 victory.

The organizers of the 2024 Summer Games have unequivocally denounced the anti-Semitic incident and filed a complaint with the French authorities, who are actively investigating the matter.

Given history, including the 1972 Munich massacre and the current conflict between Israel and Hamas, Olympic organizers are allegedly doing everything they can to avoid a crisis.

Israel's athletes now have less than 24 hours protection and have companions there from the official events.

In response to a recent hack that exposed the personal information of Israeli athletes, French cybercrime officers have been called in.

It should be noted that three Israeli athletes have also received death threats, intensifying the already tense atmosphere in Paris.
