A jab by conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck put Harley-Davidson under the “woke, broke” microscope for its supposed “total commitment” to DEI policies.
While sunshine is the best disinfectant, exposing the behavior of ideologically driven corporations has proven effective in encouraging course corrections away from the left. Since Tractor Supply and John Deere had already abandoned Marxist agendas, Starbuck “updated” the meme that saw the Grim Reaper calling the motorcycle company.
“Harley-Davidson seems to have forgotten who their primary customers are,” he said in a nearly ten-minute video that referenced policies, partnerships and events that ran the gamut of alphabet causes like DEI, CRT and LGBTQ+. “I don't think the company's values reflect the values of almost any Harley-Davidson rider.”
“Do Harley riders want the money they spend on Harley to later be used by corporations to push an ideology diametrically opposed to their own values?” asked Starbuck, who also asked the question: “So do you think @harleydavidson will make their dealers suffer the consequences of their choice to go wake the company or do you think they'll try to reverse it sooner at all? biker clubs organize boycotts?
So think everyone @HarleyDavidson will they make their dealers suffer the consequences of their choice to wake up the company or do you think they will try to reverse it before all the motorcycle clubs organize boycotts? https://t.co/nvcGOlsy8s

Among the points highlighted by the filmmaker, the motorcycle company was said to be a founding member of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, which opposes the ban on child genital mutilation, in addition to its collaborations with United Way and Human Rights Campaign.
Focusing on Harley-Davidson's documented policies, Starbuck claimed that: they were supporting allowing men in girls' sports, locker rooms, and restrooms; had funded an all-ages “Pride” event with a storytime area featuring drag queens; and required 1,800 employees to take virtual training to become LGBTQ+ allies.
In addition, the conservative called out Harley-Davidson CEO, climate change activist Jochen Zeitz, who previously expressed his goals of “total transformation of the company” by 2030 and recognition of employees of the “day of transgender visibility”.
As it has been covered, when a similar exhibit was presented John Deere i Supply of tractorsboth companies folded their support for ideological agendas that might otherwise have led them to experience firsthand what it means to be “Budlighted.”
“When we use our voices and wallets to vote on our values, we can change the world and restore America's big business to a culture of sanity,” Starbuck said.
Meanwhile, billionaire Elon Musk reacted with surprise to the exhibit and posed “Harley Davidson?” eliciting the response, “They literally sent some white employees to a white man who was only trained in diversity.”

The filmmaker also clarified, since the company's only response so far has been to “hide customer responses” to their posts, “My goal with this reporting is never destruction. My goal is to inform the consumers about the values that big business is embracing so they can make decisions about what they're willing to support. That's not canceling culture, that's capitalism.”
Still, the record showed, he was actively making the meme as the backlash occurred.

Hopefully the course will correct quickly with the Homecoming event happening in a couple of days in Milwaukee.

Knowing what conservatives can do when we put our hearts into it… I guess they'll turn around. I mean… They don't want their buds lit

Harley Davidson used to symbolize non-conformity, rugged individualism and a bit of rebellion.
They used to be American originals.
Now they are nothing more than a woke corporate hoax…
