Gutfeld does a HILARIOUS interview with “an underwear guy,” who explains the cameo in the Dick Morris video

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld scored an interview with the man who blew up the Internet when he walked through the footage while political commentator Dick Morris was making a live TV appearance.

The former adviser to Bill Clinton was breaking down the results of the Iowa caucuses on Newsmax when a man walked into the shot appearing to be dressed only in his underwear and a T-shirt, a video that went viral on social media and appeared on “Gutfeld!” earlier in the week.

“Now, like anyone who saw it, we had so many questions. Dick Morris refused to comment, so we were left to speculate about what the hell was going on here,” Gutfeld said before addressing the audience. Doug Depierro, the mystery man in the video.

“They weren't underwear, first of all, they were shorts,” he said to laughter. “I'm in Florida, you're wearing shorts and a t-shirt.”

“How did this happen? What happened?” Gutfeld asked.

“So I'm with Dick Morris all the time, I'm his man,” Depierro explained

I put the backdrops on it and when I set it up, I was going to do the survey in Iowa and I said, “Dick, you've got to angle the camera, you've got to angle it because I'm going in. and out of house,'” he said.

“And of course, when I walked in, I opened the door and saw that it was on. I'm like, 'I could close the door and then it would be like a strange man opens the door, you close the door.' So, just I entered, Depierro continued as the audience cheered and laughed at the story behind the embarrassing moment for Morris.

“First of all, social media put me on there like oh this guy is Dick Morris' gay friend, the pool guy what not. I was upstairs with my girlfriend, I have to say she's really hot like could be,” he said. I was up there having a good time. It was fine. I'm telling you I've been working on my motorcycle, because I have to work on my motorcycle, and I got into it.”

I say, 'Okay, Dick,'” Depierro said, “Let me tell you that Dick Morris is absolutely, you know him, he's a genius, politically, he's the most incredible guy out there. But, he's like “Rain Man.” He can't put a light bulb on, but he's one of the nicest guys, my best friend, and, you know, I told him, “Put the camera on an angle,” and he didn't. Then, what am I going to do? This is life.”

“Yes, it is!” Gutfeld said as the audience cheered.

The host told Depierro that he should “make it a regular thing” to make surprise appearances on Zoom, seeming to suggest cashing in on his newfound fame that he said he was considering.

Depierro also said he will appear on the “Dick Morris Show” this Sunday where he will likely explain the awkward situation further to the commentator's audience.
