Trapped inside an echo chamber of their own making, the latest attempt to attack the former president added to Saturday Night Live's “collective ignorance” for a Fox News funnyman.
It may sound like an oxymoron, but stand-up comedy is still a thing, and the most recent edition of NBC's SNL offered an embarrassing example that could have been avoided with “a simple Google search.”
During the show's Weekend Update segment, cast member Colin Jost could barely keep a straight face as he worked to crack a joke aimed at former President Donald Trump to address what he believed to be “a interesting new term called 'unseat'”.
The skit that ended with Jost stating, “I don't know what the hell kicking out means, but maybe I should take an ambulance to see a doctor,” received well-deserved criticism from the Final X account. An awakening that said, “This is what happens when you live in your own echo chamber. No writer or audience member at SNL realized that devolution is a real thing happening on the right.”
After adding: “Canada did it to truckers. JPMorgan is doing it to conservatives and Christians. It was done to J/6 protesters. All it takes is a simple Google search. Divestment is real.” had piled on Fox News host Greg Gutfeld with his own commentary.
“A friend once made a joke about the appearance of a sick person. A Google search could have prevented it from sounding silly. This is a case where a joke operates on collective ignorance: not knowing an evil common, a 'new term' that Trump apparently invented, but hadn't, affecting innocent civilians,” the late-night host tweeted. “How rich is the joke at the cashier.”

As noted, unseat is an easy term to use and one that doesn't really concern leftists who aren't easily attacked by an over-armed, overpowered federal government working hand-in-hand through public-private partnerships with elites corporations that drive globalism.
In May 2023, 19 attorneys general led by then-Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) had admonished JPMorgan Chase for the discriminatory practice in a letter that noted how, despite claims of inclusion, the bank had not “extended the its openness and inclusiveness to all. Last year, Chase unseated a preeminent religious freedom organization (National Committee for Religious Liberty). And this was not an anomaly, as there have been at least two other similar incidents.” .

Along with other examples listed by End Wokeness, founder and CEO of MyPillow Mike Lindell he had been unseated by Minnesota Bank & Trust and Heartland Financial USA in just one case where a businessman who readily voiced his concerns about election integrity had been penalized for his beliefs.
Of course, with rising ESG and social credit scores negatively impacting daily life on the horizon, coupled with the left's frequent attack on conservative concerns as little more than a theory of the conspiracy, it was not an exaggeration for some to theorize that the joke was. beyond ignorance and was in fact part of an effort to deviate from Marxist practices.
They know the term but don't care because it doesn't affect them

They know what benching is.
It's the most effective way to depersonalize someone.
It looks like you are trying to interfere.

They know what the ouster is and they're happy for it to happen.
They want to see people who oppose their ideologies suffer.
They pretend they don't know what it is so their audience won't find out what's going on.
The cast of SNL are not comedians. They are establishment activists.

This is how they work. They mock the truth.

Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. In his own words:
Rule number 5: Ridicule is man's most powerful weapon. This rule points to the power of humor, satire, and ridicule as effective tools to disarm and undermine an opponent's position. Ridicule can be a powerful tactic…— Barry J Collins (@BJCollins131) January 28, 2024
