Governor Abbott has a message for sanctuary cities on migrant buses and they won't like it

-

Refusal to move on border barriers wasn't all that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) promised as he delivered a message to sanctuary cities across the country.

Beyond the hyperbole of civil war, the Lone Star State's fight with President Joe Biden's administration over the handling of the border crisis has provided a long-overdue civics lesson on sovereignty. While Republican governors across the U.S. have supported Abbott's cause, it continued to be another lesson about reaping what you sow for those who have long favored open borders.

On Monday, on his personal X account, the governor spoke about the busing strategy that has given once-proud sanctuary cities a real taste of how devastating the crisis has been, promising to keep the pressure on.

“Texas has transported more than 102,000 migrants to sanctuary cities,” he wrote. “Texas' overwhelmed border cities should not have to bear the brunt of Biden's open border policies. Our transportation mission will continue until Biden secures the border.”

While many have questioned Abbott's strategy of moving illegals further into the country, some even dragging it down as a political gimmick, Democrat-run cities have certainly felt the impact as they experience only a fraction of the millions of foreign nationals who have flooded into the United States. States under Biden's watch.

Denver, Colorado, which had recently reported an influx of 40,000 illegals gave notice those living in taxpayer-funded shelters that their time would be limited and evictions were imminent.

Meanwhile, approximately 100 foreigners were seen sleeping overnight at Boston's Logan International Airport as, like Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and San Diego International Airport, it became a makeshift shelter affecting the infrastructure and distribution of first responders.

As local and state governments in New York, Massachusetts and Illinois asked the federal government for billions to help respond to the crisis, Abbott joined Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday with a reminder that the Texas actions, specifically to secure the border, have not been done. it's only been legal, but they're the preferred course of action for Biden's own operatives.

“They don't want to have anything to do with taking down that razor wire or taking down the barriers that Texas has put up for one simple reason: And that's because they're working,” said the governor, who the Border Patrol faced with Texas officials later. the Supreme Court's decision to overturn a lower court ruling, thus siding with Biden's effort to remove the razor wire in Eagle Pass, Texas.

“Border Patrol says what Texas has done to secure the border makes their job even easier. The only resistance we face comes from Joe Biden,” explained the governor, who indicated that only six people had crossed on Sunday into the area where up to 3,000 had previously been seen, and each was easily apprehended.

Despite tough talk from the administration, an ultimatum deadline passed without incident and was met with a demand from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for the Department of Homeland Security to provide documented evidence to support either claims of the administration against the actions of Texas. Bye now.
