GOP Rep Goes Out on NBC Reporter, Flips the Script on DEI Formation [VIDEO]

At a recent news conference, Republicans in Staten Island, New York, expressed outrage at media narratives suggesting that the assassination attempt on President Trump could be justified or excused because of the assailant's Republican record .

Sam Pirozzolo, representing local Republicans, took the issue firmly, highlighting the absurdity of politicizing the incident and condemning any attempt to excuse the attack.

During the press conference, NBC reporter 'Daniel' brought up the fact that the assailant was a registered Republican, prompting a strong response from Pirozzolo.

Pirozzolo replied, “So you want to talk about the fact that the man can be a Republican, or at least registered with the Republican Party, which anyone in this country is free to do. You've suggested that, and you're talking about rhetoric. So, you're saying that it's not okay for us to report the violence? are you saying we should wait until we know what's going on?

He continued, criticizing the media's approach: “Everybody on the planet knows you've got MSNBC, The New York Times, Rachel Maddow, The View, you've got Maxine Waters, oh, let's put them in your face. You've got this every day and you dare you say we don't have to wait now it's time to freshen up we don't have to wait for your permission no one, regardless of this young man's motivation, what he did was wrong. He tried to assassinate a president of the United States.”

Pirozzolo emphasized the responsibility of the media: “And you say, well, maybe I should wait. Maybe it's okay. Are you saying that being registered with the Republican Party absolves him of everything? Does the media absolve all the coverage they have done over the last 10 years? Absolutely not. That's a pathetic question, and I think you should be ashamed of yourself.”

Addressing the broader media picture, Pirozzolo added: “When you have social media, you have control of the media. You talk about the laptop, you talk about Russian collusion, we have to forget all that because maybe this man was registered or is registered with the Republican Party. You should be ashamed of yourselves.”

When a reporter chimed in, trying to clarify the media's position, Pirozzolo doubled down: “What I'm saying. It's what I'm saying. Listen, I take all these DEI classes, right? And in the DEI classes they say that it's not what the question is, it's how the person who perceives the question takes it”.
