The Georgia State Senate on Friday approved the creation of a committee to investigate Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The Senate voted 30-19 to investigate Willis in response to allegations she awarded her alleged lover, Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, a “lucrative” contract who benefited when he took her on holiday with the money he earned from his position.
