Fox News’ Laura Ingraham explains why the media is quietly promoting Nikki Haley’s campaign

-

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham drew attention to a serious pattern emerging in the 2024 presidential election campaign, which mostly involved the Republican candidates.

The host of “The Ingraham Angle” gave viewers his take on “the media’s favorite Republican” and how the mainstream media is quietly promoting Nikki Haley after the latest GOP primary debate, and point out how this is political “suicide” for the former United Nations. ambassador

“After last night’s debate, one conclusion is undeniable: the media wants Nikki Haley as the Republican nominee,” Ingraham opened, referring to the third Republican primary debate held Wednesday in Miami, Florida.

Haley shared the stage with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

“Look at these Politico headlines,” Ingraham cited examples of the media almost flattering Haley.

“Most of her reporters agreed that Nikki Haley had the best night. And in one tweet, ‘Nikki Haley’s rise and the 2024 primaries were hard to ignore,'” he read.

“And big kudos to the New York Times, too. They say Haley won all three debates! And let’s not forget, MSNBC: They’re as enamored as can be with a Republican whose last name isn’t Bush, Cheney, Kinzinger, or Romney.” , the Fox News host said.

“Well, it’s nice to have good press. I get it,” Ingraham continued before launching a reality check for Team Haley.

“But politically, this is suicide for Nikki Haley,” he said.

“There is no future in the Republican Party for someone who has been endorsed by Politico and The New York Times. So Nikki Haley can be a media hero, or she can be a leader of the GOP, but she can’t be both.” Ingraham stated.

“So if Nikki Haley wants to win the support of the GOP, she needs to explain how she’s not the second coming of the Bushes and Liz Cheney,” Ingraham suggested.

“But at the moment it seems from listening to her last night, at least, she is. Otherwise the media wouldn’t be meeting with her. But the fact is she is unrelentingly pro-war, which in a showdown with Biden, it would allow him to take the path of peace,” the Fox News host warned, adding, “That’s great for Biden.”

“Could he win over Trump voters? It’s hard to see how he could,” he continued.

“But one idea, I guess, would be for her to travel to a battleground state and then pick a fight for a cause that really pisses off the media. How about that?” Ingraham suggested before weighing in on which candidate appears to be the most “presidential.”

“It’s my opinion after last night, as it has been in every debate, that Ron DeSantis comes out stronger,” he said. “That’s because he has more experience as a successful chief executive, along with a clear populist message that voters are aligned with.”
