Dr. Anthony Fauci faces criticism for admitting he no longer actively practices his Catholic faith for “complicated reasons.”
He offered the admission during an interview earlier this month with the BBC.
Listen:
Anthony Fauci explains that although he identifies as Catholic, his “personal ethics about life” are so strong that he has no need to practice religion. “Seems like a pro forma thing I don't really need to do.” pic.twitter.com/r5YbCs2gbM

“You don't train anymore, do you?” interviewer Katty Kay asked me.
“I don't,” he replied.
“Because?” Kay pressed.
“A number of complicated reasons. First, I think my own personal ethics about life are enough to keep me on the right path, and I think there are enough negatives about the organizational church that you know very well.” , Fauci replied.
“I am not against it. I identify as Catholic. I was raised, baptized, confirmed, married in the church, my children were baptized in the church, but as far as practicing it, it almost seems like a pro forma thing that I don't really need to do “, added.
His words provoked an outcry from his critics, some of whom accused him of considering himself a God.
“This is the kind of thinking that guarantees he's wrong. Fauci's lies during COVID further prove the point. Set yourself up as your own god and you'll soon find you have feet of clay,” wrote one critical
“I think we all know who Anthony Fauci worships as a god and finds that deity in the mirror,” another critic wrote.

This is confirmation of all the demonic language I have used to talk about this demon in recent years. This is straight satanic levels of “be like God” and “I will be like the Most High”. Fauci is openly and literally proclaiming himself to be his own god here. https://t.co/0ep4yz1Ih0

It is hard to say which is worse: his theology or his science.

His ethics also allowed him to fund gain-of-function research in a Chinese lab and then lie about it repeatedly while under oath. He does not practice his faith because he does not want to confess.

Of course, Fauci doesn't have to practice his Catholicism. 1) He is a far-left technocrat which by definition makes him an atheist; 2) He is the [self-proclaimed] Science (TM). Unfortunately for him, God doesn't take any of them into account.

Understanding that God is just and the only one who is just should breed humility. If you do not understand this, you will end up replacing God's justice with an alternative of your own creation. Therefore, “I am science.”

Really? His only concept of “ethics” seems to involve behaviors that are financially beneficial to him and keep him in the limelight. I think he could do some biblical realignment, if indeed he “identifies as” a Catholic. The same goes for Biden.

Why would Saint Fauci practice religion like mere mortals?
After all, he is science. pic.twitter.com/thCYUd2A9z

Some critics referred to Fauci's narcissistic habit of proclaiming himself to be “science”. Others pointed out how he had blatantly lied to Congress about his funding for gain-of-function research. None of these behaviors are in any way Christian.
One critic also pointed to President Joe Biden, another ostensibly Catholic who lives a life and promotes ideologies completely anathema to the Catholic faith.
For example, earlier this year, a reporter tried to explain to the president that Catholic bishops were demanding that federal tax dollars not be used to fund abortions. But the president stubbornly refused to acknowledge the truth.
“No, not everyone does that, not even the pope,” he said.

But that was a blatant lie.
“Pope Francis has been a staunch opponent of abortion in all cases. The pontiff has compared abortion to 'hiring a hit man' and said humanity should 'leave the killing to the animals,'” notes Fox News.
At that time, the president was called by Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Catholic Diocese of Tyler.
“Mr. Biden cannot be allowed to twist the words of Pope Francis in this way. I implore the Vatican press office to emphatically clarify that Pope Francis rightly calls abortion murder. Time to denounce Biden's fake Catholicism,” Strickland tweeted.
