During the assault, the assailant held a bundle of clothes in one hand.
After the attack, the assailant briefly disappears from view but returns moments later through the front door of the laundry.
The victim, a 47-year-old homeless man identified by sources, staggered through the blood-covered laundry.
At one point, he threw a chair at the front door in an attempt to escape the scene. Responding officers rushed him to Lincoln Hospital and he was listed in stable condition.
The images do not capture the attack on the second victim, who was stabbed in the legs and torso. He was later pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. Authorities have not yet identified this second victim.
The NYPD confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the case and that the investigation is ongoing.
