The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) is warning Americans of an increase in “radicalizing and extreme content” from people like Michigan Islamic scholar Ahmad Musa Jibril, who posted on X videos in which he praises “jihad” and calls out the United States. “the vicious enemy of Muslims”.
“You have quite radical and extreme content,” said Alberto Fernández, vice president of MEMRI Fox News Digital. “This is stuff they've posted on social media. It's there for everyone to see.”

“America is a bitter enemy of Muslims,” he said. “It is one of the most important nations in the history of the earth with crimes against Muslims.”
“When one of your kids has a bruise or there's a simple rumor that they've been spanked, you know what Child Protective Services does,” she told her followers. “But charcoaling 5,000 of our Muslim children, that's fine.”
In another video uploaded to MEMRI, Jibril encouraged Muslims in the United States to embrace jihad.
“Yes, there is a holy war in Islam. It is jihad,” he said. “This may come as a surprise to many who grew up in the West, especially those born or raised after 9/11, because of the growing number of hypocrites who are spreading American Zionist Islam. And no it has nothing to do with Islam, this version of Islam is an Islam that suits the enemies.”
“Muslims in the West, especially the youth of the West, especially the youth of America, need to wake up,” Jibril said. “Current events are a wake-up call for Muslims to start normalizing themselves by mentioning the proper meaning of jihad and putting it back into their vocabulary. Jihad must be a normal and common term in your languages, on your social media, in mosques and elsewhere.”
In another video, this one back to X, Jibril declares that “every millimeter of Palestine must be governed by the Sharī'ah of Allah”, not by “Democracy”.

Jibril has called President Biden a “terrorist” and blamed the United States for “genocide in Palestine.”
“It's about time that Muslims, especially the youth, in the West. It's time for them to understand what should be known by now, that the infidel West, especially the US, are the enemies of Muslims,” Jibril said. “If you cannot raise your child by telling him that you want him to be a mujahid and a martyr, then you are the root of the problem.”
In Delaware, MEMIR revealed through another uploaded video, an imam warned Muslims living in the West that Allah would turn “America into Palestine.”
“Allah has not turned America into Palestine yet. The time is coming, we have enjoyed a lot,” said Imam Shadeed Muhammad. “This is stolen land, make no mistake. Every breath we take on this land right here, that's blood money. Blood money taken from the natives here… and you think we just want to stay here, live here , enjoy all life and die, and the time will not come?
According to Fernández, the videos point to a growing trend on social media, which he fears will lead to the spread of dangerous ideas in America.
“If that's what they're saying openly, what are they saying that isn't open?” he asked.
Young, impressionable and ignorant people are most at risk.
“This also happened after September 11,” Fernández noted.
“In some cases, of course, it was a kind of curiosity [about the ‘bad guys’]”, explained. “In other cases, there was a conversion to Islam, and in other cases, people became radicalized and actually carried out acts of terrorism.”

“Fernández noted that Jibril in particular became “notorious” during the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, becoming known for radicalizing Western Muslims and encouraging them to join the terror group Fox News Digital reports. “The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas risks being a similar 'accelerator' for driving extremist ideas.”
“It accelerates something that is already happening, which is a kind of ideological war that is taking place. So it drives interest and makes people more extreme,” Fernandez said. “They'll use whatever happens to promote their message.”
