Soft-on-crime policies were blamed for the supposed opportunity for a convicted felon to fatally shoot four people, and the typical left-wing response was expected to be hard to come by because of his criminal record.
“It's even worse…”

Shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday in Florence, Kentucky, local police were dispatched to a residence where they encountered an active shooter situation. Although the suspect, who later succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, had shot seven people, leaving three seriously injured and four dead, it was his record of child sexual abuse and leftist leniency that he had apparently kept the incident under control. the radar
On Monday, filmmaker and outspoken conservative Robby Starbuck took to X to share details of 21-year-old Chase Garvey's background, which included court documents signing off on probation for the convicted felon.
“Expect to hear very little about the shooting in Kentucky starting this week. Here's why: 7 people were shot and apparently that was only possible because a leftist judge named Kathleen Lape granted parole to a child rapist and no jail time,” Starbuck said.
“The shooter is believed to be Chase Garvey. He is a convicted child rapist who once lured a 13-year-old girl on Snapchat to rape her,” he detailed. “Left-wing judge Kathleen Lape gave him only 5 years of probation. Even worse because she had a second chance to jail him.”

“Chase violated probation and still only gave him 30 days in county jail when he could have been sentenced to 5 years. He should have been sentenced to much worse than that from the start,” the commenter argued , “but even just serving his full 5 year prison sentence for violating probation would have saved 7 people from being shot and 4 people wouldn't be dead right now.”
During a news conference Saturday, Florence Police Chief Jeff Mallery detailed that the suspect knew the family was hosting a birthday party for the victim's daughter, Melissa Parrett, 44, “When officers arrived, they could still hear gunshots. They approached the residence and saw several victims. Those attending the party told police the suspect had fled.”
Along with Parrett, Delaney Eary, 19, Shane Miller, 20, and Hayden Rybicki, 20, were pronounced dead at the scene as law enforcement pursued the fleeing suspect. Garvey shot himself while being pursued by the Florence Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
According to the WLWT report, after his conviction for raping a 13-year-old girl in 2021, he was convicted of unlawful transaction with a minor in the second degree in 2023 and was said to have had a transaction of 13 years. old passenger in his vehicle when he was pulled over for donuts in a parking lot.
Police had also been called to the residence the night before the incident when Garvey allegedly showed up, but no action was taken against him, WLWT reported.
Starbuck went on to state, “Judges who are soft on crime get people killed. I doubt the media will tell the truth about that. Oh, and by the way, he's a felon, so he shouldn't have had a gun either, but like most criminals, he failed to comply with gun laws.”
Also, since the outrage included a reaction from Elon Musk, the filmmaker directed social media users to crowdfunding pages set up for the victims' families.
We need to get competent, tough-on-crime judges and prosecutors in office to replace criminal activists.

Prosecute the judge as an accomplice. This crap has to stop, but it won't stop until these activist judges are held accountable for their actions.
