Despite the freedoms, Canada’s prime minister took aim at “American MAGA-influenced thinking” after lawmakers opposed left-wing additions to Ukraine aid.
The same globalist unity that sparked calls to “build back better” seemed to manifest a bogeyman in the red-hat populism that originated with former President Donald Trump’s initial bid for the White House. Invoking the movement-turned-slogan “Make America Great Again,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took aim at his fellow conservatives for allegedly falling victim to the ideology.
After a vote on Tuesday to update the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) to allegedly include Ukraine’s imposition of a carbon tax, Trudeau, who had previously shown vitriol for the freedoms by opposing -se to the truckers demonstrating against the COVID mandates, criticized the American “right”. the wing thought” leaching northwards and the supposed parroting of “Russian disinformation and disinformation”.
“The real story is the rise of right-wing thinking influenced by American MAGA that has caused Canadian conservatives, who used to be one of the strongest defenders of Ukraine, I’ll admit, to turn their backs on something that Ukraine needs in its hour of need,” the prime minister said, although the update passed successfully by a vote of 205-109.

Trudeau expressed how he found it troubling “that all of a sudden the Conservative Party of Canada would choose not to stand with Ukraine on something that Ukraine needs, that Ukraine has asked for, and to use the frankly absurd excuse that Ukraine is going to put a price on pollution in the next few years. Obviously, that’s an excuse, but it’s not the real story.”
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, Canadian Conservative Party leader and prime ministerial candidate Pierre Poilievre said: “I really think it speaks to how pathologically obsessed Trudeau is with the carbon tax that, while the knife is at the throats of Ukrainians, he would use this to impose his carbon tax ideology on these poor people.”
“The last thing they need is a carbon tax when they’re trying to rebuild after the war and this illegal invasion by Russia,” he said in steady support for the war-torn nation.
Meanwhile, Canada-Ukraine Friendship Parliamentary Group Liberal MP Yvan Baker suggested on Wednesday that Poilievre’s stance was just the opposite, accusing him of “never” promoting “military, humanitarian or financial support in Ukraine”.
“Ukraine is already signed up to have a carbon tax because Ukraine has to in order to be a member of the EU and the EU already had a carbon price in place,” Baker told the press. “The carbon tax language in the deal doesn’t require Ukraine to do anything. It’s just a commitment to work to fight climate change, which we should all be able to achieve.”
While President Joe Biden has readily vilified so-called “extreme MAGA Republicans” at every opportunity, the rhetoric has continued to escalate with “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade recently pointing out Trump’s rampant comparisons to Adolf hitler
“Guess what they’ve already done? They called Trump Hitler 13 times over the weekend! he presented. “Hillary Clinton started on ‘The View.’ So how much? After a while, people stop hearing it, they get numb to it. They’re trying to tear Trump down because they think he’s going to be the nominee.”
Social media users blasted Trudeau for “gassing” not only because the language of the legislation seemed to speak for itself, but for acting like “the holiest and noblest people on the planet…when really they are some of the more evil beings.” on the planet.”
I love how progressive liberals and leftist politicians talk like they are the holiest and noblest people on the planet…when really they are some of the most evil beings on the planet…They love to bash conservatives and tell them extremes and dangerous…Justin Trudeau is even…

Canadians are really starting to wake up to the level of gaslighting coming from the WEF controlled administration.
I hope people watch this clip carefully.

He said the same about Muslim parents who had questions about parental rights. And I was parading around the country going to every LGBTQIA event available. Until he realized that the Muslim vote really doesn’t care about that sort of thing.
