Democratic candidate Kamala Harris may be ignoring her resume now that she's running for president, but no amount of media whitewashing will cover up her radical past.
The veep and her husband Doug Emhoff donated money to a Washington, D.C. nonprofit group advocating anti-police policies at a time when violent crime was consuming the nation's capital during violent race riots following the death of George Floyd in 2020.
according to Fox News that cited White House financial disclosures, the couple “made a repeated donation” to Legal Aid DC, an organization that provides free legal aid to the poor but has also advocated for cuts to police budgets and fewer police patrols in areas affected by crime.
“We are concerned, especially given the ongoing protest movement, about any solution that involves more police and policing in DC public housing. #BlackLivesMatterDC,” the group tweeted in June 2020, responding to an article about the DC attorney general suing the Housing Authority over its failure to respond to violent crimes at 10 properties.
As Legal Aid's Amanda Korber noted in the article, we are concerned, especially given the ongoing protest movement, about any solution that involves more police and policing in DC public housing. #BlackLivesMatterDC https://t.co/EX73qgZGmM

The post on Twitter, since renamed X, came days after the career criminal and drug addict died while resisting arrest in Minneapolis, sparking a summer of chaos that shook the nation to its core .
In another post days later, the group joined calls to protest a proposed budget increase for the city's Metropolitan Police Department. “Legal aid adds to the call to cut police funding and reinvest in communities,” the nonprofit wrote.
Legal Aid DC has supported making DC a permanent “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens at a time when Biden's border bloodbath has flooded America with violent criminals.
The disclosure documents were discovered by the Washington Examiner which reported that the group “received a $1,000 donation from Harris and Emhoff in 2023, according to a copy of their joint tax return. In 2021, the couple also directed $1,000 to Legal Aid DC.
News of the donations comes as Harris has gone into chameleon mode as part of a massive propaganda campaign to portray her as a moderate after the Democratic elite stole the nomination from President Joe Biden.
But despite the media makeover, Harris is facing renewed scrutiny over how he has stoked the fire during George Floyd's “Summer of Love” after he chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to be his running mate, a man who allowed protests to turn into violent riots that destroyed parts of his state's largest city.
He then urged people to donate to a progressive organization in Minnesota to get the rioters out of jail to get them out quickly and onto the streets.
If you can, enter now to the @MNFreedomFund to help pay bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota. https://t.co/t8LXowKIbw

“So in 2023, the same year the mayor of Washington, DC had to declare a state of emergency regarding youth crime, Kamala gave to a group committed to defunding the police,” he said former NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro. seconds on Fox News.
“The result of this can be seen in the sweeping crime reform bill our capital recently had to pass to counter the naïve and destructive agendas of public officials who behave more like campus activists. This from a prosecutor? No wonder our cities look like they do,” he added.
In a statement to the Washington Examiner, White House spokesman Andrew Bates defended the donations, saying the group “helps clients who are experiencing domestic violence.”
