If there's one thing you can always count on, it's dumb Democrat policies. They seem to be everywhere, and it's amazing how some of these women seem to have no idea what they're doing. Just look at Kathy Hochul – this so-called “governor” seems to lack a fundamental understanding of the laws governing special elections in her own state. He has no idea and thought he should appoint the next congressman to George Santo's seat. He missed the mark by a long shot.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is causing confusion online as some X users believe a comment she made on social media indicated she intends to fill the seat of ousted Rep. George Santos, RNY, herself, and not make a special event. election to fill the vacancy.
When Hochul posted his reaction to Santos' ouster at 11:14 a.m., he did not refer to an election, leading some users to infer that the governor would try to select Santos' replacement.
“I am ready to take on the solemn responsibility of filling the vacancy in New York's 3rd District. The people of Long Island deserve nothing less,” Hochul wrote to X, without mentioning a special election.
This is just one example and unfortunately there are many, many more. The other day, Sheila Jackson Lee mistakenly urged her followers to vote on the wrong day.
And now, another Democratic woman found herself on the receiving end of a harsh life lesson and public humiliation, courtesy of a conservative woman—a former swimmer, to be exact. Riley Gaines, the brave former college swimmer who has taken a stand on transgender/sports issues, recently appeared before Congress and engaged in a heated exchange with a Democratic lawmaker who was unprepared for Riley's wit.
During her testimony later in the hearing, Gaines said, “Unsafe, unfair and discriminatory practices against women must stop. Inclusion cannot be prioritized over safety and fairness.” .
Then, addressing Lee directly, Gaines added, “If my testimony makes me transphobic, then I think your opening monologue makes you a misogynist.”
Soon after, Lee, who had just taken office in January, asked the subcommittee's chairwoman, Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Michigan, to have Gaines' comments about her removed from the record, saying the testimony was ” involved with personalities”.
The House's “personalities” rule of decorum has to do with how members of Congress address each other, asking them to debate the issues at hand and not engage in personal attacks. However, it has nothing to do with how witnesses before the committee address lawmakers.
Ironically, it was Lee who started the so-called, and then tried to use a “rule” meant for House members to try to protect himself. This woman was all kinds of confused.
By the end, the congresswoman had so much egg on her face she could have made an omelette. Realizing that she had been outmaneuvered, and to spare herself further public humiliation, she retracted her point of order.
Ouch.

Thank goodness for Riley, a sharp and intelligent woman who isn't afraid to stand up to this hateful, uninformed crowd. The left seems quite eager to tear down the rights of young female athletes in order to give a (hairy) face to men who cross-dress. shameful
